Kevin Nolan was like a less glamourous Lampard i swear he was man he was like West Ham United field gun , and his work for Bolton was him scoring but as a mildfield player . At WestHam he was purely about goals .... I hold him in a regard of like a Tim Cahill without the heading. He gives the midfield "intent".

top4 is considered a success for a never ending rebuilding United. So yes he was successful in the Prem and in Norway. Name a manager who isn't considered elite who has finished top3 twice in a row in the Premier League.
