He was created to honor a player who died of cancer. He can be found at various places around Sanctuary at odd moments... You can always know it's him by the guns he has on his back and the sunglasses... He's the only NPC I've seen in Sanctuary with guns on his back...

Ive seen this guy maybe 5 times total in my thousands of hours of playing BL2. Almost every time I see him he's up at the steps at the edge of sanctuary on the north west side right before you get to the garage.

@@pqvz there's certain places he spawns so checking them all every so often ups your odds. But it's very rare. I've seen him a handful of times but never got a legendary from him.

@@EliteNugz We used to grind him when bored, we even had optimized routes to check all his possible locations. I think there are seven possible locations, and he spawns around 1/10 times? It's been a while, those numbers might be wrong.

In the early days he always spawned in Sanctuary before it goes airborne. After some time they patched it to a 10% chance but many people do not have the time or sanity to check all of Sanctuary for him as he has insanely low chances at giving anything really good. (None to about 1% for any legendaries)

what I did was I just went to claptraps place went back to sanctuary, went to the spots where he spawns (near claptrap, in dr zeds, in moxxis, in scooters and in marcus') if he wasn't there I'd go back to claptraps place and repeat that cycle.

1. I love the game. 2. I get the kid died of cancer and that is sad. 3. I still dont get why they put him in the game. Because he died of cancer? That isnt unique in any way. People die from cancer all the time. It just seems weird to me.
