His mom is terrible! As a mother I can't imagine encouraging my own son to do anything that could harm him. It's because of people like her that drugs, violence, theft, gangs etc continue in society. As a former Wardens secretary I saw the devastating images of what can happen to an inmate. It's not something you ever forget. Blood smells like iron, metallic because it has iron in it.

I agree, my dad was a colossal pervert and a sadistic pig, my mother had a personality disorder…… I disassociated myself from my entire family, married a great man, who incidentally had his own problems with his upbringing, and we have a beautiful family 3 wonderful children and a very happy wholesome marriage. Your upbringing is only part of your story, you make up the rest. I was determined to reset the whole dynamics and I helped do it for my husband also. Praise be to Jesus also.

As a former prisoner myself, this man is speaking the truth! C.O.s don't care about inmates. I've seen brutality. Inmate and CO invoked. And idk about CDOC but here, KDOC houses according to a "Points System". Age, crime, overall reoffending probability rate, criminal history, as well as "gang points". Those never "fall off". Classified gang members are "red bagded" -medium/high custody level and are house in I-cellhouse or J-cellhouse. Definitely not a vacation resort. Prison mentality is also difficult to rid your mind of upon release. But.... We do the crime, we pay with time.. Thanks for sharing, Lamont. Have a good day...
