A lot of those deaths in the side lanes were grief, he doesn't need to play around with Camille when he knows she can lock him down right as he usually would escape alive. By that I mean he was constantly trading with her unnecessarily and even Drew pointed it out. Obviously those players are much better than me but surely in his situation you do just run from Camille on sight and catch waves at tower? Some top lane matchups are completely unplayable and due to lane length it's MUCH, MUCH more punishing, too. Worst matchups in mid are nowhere near as bad as worst matchups in top, too.

I’m a midlaner, and think toplane should have final pick tbh. Midlaners definitely have matchup stuff and it’s a sololane and all that, but with many relevant midlaners you can minimize a losing lane by just CS from distance with spells and be involved in teamfights, or roam and jump in skirmishes ie Galio Talon Qiyana. Much harder for toplaners to do either of these

Kled's problem is that he has no mythic that actually fits him. Sur he can build Goredrinker, but it's not quite his gameplay. He's one of the few champions that used to rush BC+Titanic (when it had the AA reset), as core items, and now that they're weaker than mythics, he's in a weird inbetween where the items are quite what fits him, but it's not the worst either. Also, Kled's good early, but he falls off extremely hard in the mid to late game. One of the worse champs post 25mins.

Basically once he starts losing he loses all focus and ints to oblivion... Similar here I should think. Art takes a lot more manhours than balance does. In fact, for a lot of games art assets require the most amount of time during development. It also scales directly with investment. By comparison balance can't be improved simply by hiring more people or putting in more hours.
