Yoongi and Jin are such an underrated duo. I feel like they are the most mature with each other, and they have a high level of respect and love for one another. I think that if the group has survived its success by remaining sane, it is because over the years they have had Jin's mental strength and wisdom, which has taught them to see happiness in the little big things in life, to enjoy the moment when the the occasion was good and to keep their feet on the ground. Anytime Jin talks down on himself whether it be something from his past or present it hurts me too and I'm sure it hurts alot of Army as well (I'm crying as I type this). I don't know who made him feel that way but at least we all know it's not true and I'm so happy BTS makes sure to remind him that it's not true because he is too damn talented and too damn special and amazing to be feeling or thinking that way and I hope Army will always makes sure to remind him of how talented and amazing he truly is.

It's an ingrained part of Asian culture, to be humble and downplay one's talents or strengths. That said, I do think BTS have genuine inferiority complexes, above and beyond the usual societal expectations. And I definitely think Jin's is the strongest: he came into the group with very little to offer in terms of singing or dancing and had to learn from the ground up. He came in as an elder, yet he's the younger in his family, so he had to take on an older-brother role that was new to him. He was constantly comparing himself to seasoned rappers and talented singers and dancers who'd already gained some recognition for their skill. And he was constantly trying to be a good role model and guide for the younger kids, yet he had to do it without stepping on the (younger) leader's toes. One heck of a balancing act and tons of hard work later, he's a truly remarkable idol... and he seems much happier and more confident... but then I remember what a good actor he is and I wonder a bit. Especially when I see how shy/nervous he gets when the spotlight's on him... like with the Coldplay concert. Still, we can always count on 'the kids' to give him a boost... J-Hope said praise from the members makes him feel the best, and I bet it is the same for Jin, because he looked mighty touched when Suga praised him.

It was emotional, it was eye opening, honest and raw . It was a very emotional episode, I cried during several sections of the episode, I miss Jin a lot, I loved their exchange between Yoongi and him, and the section with Hobi great, you could see the emotion in their eyes, and the end when Yoongi tells him to come back safe and sound, his eyes were teary. I remember on In the Soop1, Yoongi and Jin referred to each other as soulmates so now this is the 2nd duo after Tae and Jimin to do so. Given that, it's no surprise that they get along so well and feel the most at ease with each other. I also hope they will make the dream of Bangtan Village a reality and that they will be performing all 7 together well into their 70s. Other musical groups have done it so no reason BTS can't do it too. Sure they won't be doing the hard hitting choreography at that age but as we've seen from Tiny Desk and other sit down events the hard choreo isn't needed for them to be fantastic performers. I also really love how Jin mentioned Tae wrapped up his filming in Mexico early to come home to see him off. That was so precious and I'm thankfully for the Jinny's Kitchen producers allowing him to do so. Yoongi is a great interviewer and I can't wait for all of the members to be interviewed by him. 💜

Oh this episode was special!!!! I loved the natural, unfiltered talk and bringing Hobi in was sheer brilliance. Listening to the three of them talk about starting out and not knowing how to sing/rap, dance and perform - it's crazy to see where they are now.
