Hi fam! So I'm old, both as a woman in her 50's and as ARMY. I found Bangtan at the end of 2013 when a friend who was stationed in ROK while I was there showed me this new Idol group who was "not like other idols, they area real verses always pretty and produced." At first I listened and thought "not bad" but it was when I first saw/heard this very song that I became ARMY and ApoBangpo for life. This song makes me feel so old yet so young. Silly huh? As an American, once I was sent back to America after working in ROK, I had to work hard at keeping up with BTS because there were not ARMY around like there is now (Thank you ARMY for being so vibrant and global!!!!) I did hear this song before and I love it. I agree with you about the break part even though it doesn't seem like they are on a break lol. I remember one of the biggest bands in the world back in the 80s and 90s one member said it got to the point they were so exhausted where they would walk down a hotel hallway and not even acknowledge each other then go on stage and perform. Im not saying bts got to that point but they definitely needed time to grow as individuals and whats happening with each member is amazing. The growth from back then till now is just exciting to see. I am very excited for their journey into a new chapter of their loves .

The break is very crucial… more than 10 yrs doing the same thing will eventually take a toll on you…. That is why I think the military enlistment is a good thing? If you know what I mean? It sets them on pause and they can recoup and redirect their energy and music direction to where they want it to lead them and us…. All they need and we have to do is give them support and love…. 💜

Nico you have open up a flashback that I myself forget it even existed. The tears and the memories from when I became ARMY back in 2015 and looking to all their videos and concepts and looking at my daughter who at the time was already ARMY from 2012 and her explaining to me their story and struggles from the beginning. And to see how far they’ve become still against all those who wish for them to disband. But BTS will forever rise to the top no matter how hard the way might be.
