Yup, that's so true. What is tragic is these sickos will find out about these young girls dying, and where they are to be buried through obituaries. It's to the point where if you have a relative who died, and was an attractive young girl, best skip the obituary. For anyone to do this, you have to be pretty sick beyond what I can imagine.

I didn't even get a chance to say goodbye to my mom she died of a brain aneurysm when she was 44 and i though that was young, but this girl was 14 ? So tragic to have your life taken away so young, i hope she can rest well now. 🌺

Very informative and well presented. Crimes against the dead or grave, elderly minors and disabled are evil and disgraceful. The lowest act a person can do. Earlier this year Melbourne Australia had mausoleums broken into. Parts of human remains stolen. Thankfully the police caught the criminal.

thank goodness she never felt any pain and was already gone from this world.. i think if she had been alive this would have been even worse... still horrifying, to be a person living to know that even in death you cant guarantee safety. but im glad nothing more happened to her other than being taken. to think had he completed his sick task, what he might have done to her. to have the mindset to even do ANYTHING to anyone dead is pretty horrifying. i really hope he was sent away to a hospital or got serious help

It’s horrible to have to process in your mind that your young daughter had died but to also process that someone stole her body. That’s grief beyond grief. Not 100%, but I believe Carlos died in Miami in 2000. He arrived from Cuba in 1961, and then moved to the Evanston area. He went to St. George HS in Evanston. This is only a few miles from Skokie, where Therese died.

I am so sorry for this family and I hope her family found some peace . When my husband died of covid we didn't have his ashes at his funeral because his Dr could not be found to sign his death certificate ,it took nearly 3 weeks to clear that up .

Yikes! When I was at Northwestern, the back of my apartment was on that alley at Noyes and Maple...12 years later, though. Creepy people were always breaking into our laundry rooms located off the alley and stealing stuff. Guess we were too young and dumb to worry!

It more than likely was not a bathing suit but would have been a embalming under garment that is made of plastic or rubber with elastic arms and legs to hold in any leaking fluid from the torso it would look a bit like a bathing suit it would very likely needed after an autopsy sorry if it sounds a bit gory but it has a practical use but what a sick thing to do

I would say he has more than a couple screws loose. Her poor parents had lost their child to a medical condition I am sure they weren't aware of and then they lost her remains. You know when I look at this young lady, she looks a lot like my favorite woman comedian and that would be CAROL BURBETT. I watch the old reruns almost every night and she always makes me laugh. But when I see this beautiful young child, and what happened to her, it makes me feel very sad and angry. And even now the heavens rain with bucket sized tears, what a world we live in. Thank you Ron, for laying the yellow rose on Therese head stone, it does ease some of the pain. The yellow rose is a class act, my father liked yellow flowers.
