THIS STORY:
Stuart Pierson was a student at Kenyon College in 1905. He was an aspiring to be a member of the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity. On October 28, 1905 he was killed by an unscheduled train, after being sent to a railway bridge as part of a hazing ceremony.
THIS CHANNEL:
_________________________________________________________
The Angel face you see is the Haserot, named “The Angel of Death Victorious". The stoic angel is seated on the marble gravestone of canning entrepreneur Francis Haserot and his family. Holding an extinguished torch upside-down, it represents a symbol of life extinguished. Wings are outstretched and the gaze is straight ahead.
IN THE END, DEATH ALWAYS WINS. LEST THE FACES NOT BE FORGOTTEN...
This channel is focused on casually walking and viewing a handful of the thousands of forgotten names and faces at various cemeteries near and afar. Seeing their faces up close. And when able, telling the stories behind their names.
Most graves are unknown and lost to history.
Some are famous.
And some infamous....
....and some with tragic endings.

Poor Stewart. Having dislocated both shoulders and torn off his hand to try to escape is unimagineable. Hearing how much the whole group pledged to uphold the secrets of their fraternity actually proves my opinion of the cultish nature of some of those fraternities. They care more about that than human life and safety. Even his own son! That's cold as ice. I was an independent, didn’t belong to any sorority. I thought they were like this. I see at least one fraternity for sure is like this.

I had a great uncle back in early 1900’s, 15 years old, playing around with his buddies, running on the top of moving freight train. He fell between the cars, got ran over. Newspapers were very descriptive of his injuries. Severed both legs and drug down the tracks. Lived 4 hours, long enough for his mom and dad say their goodbyes…😢 newspaper followed article up with “kids shouldn’t be playing around the trains” ugh so horrible.

I'm moved to tears for the mother of Stewart! A woman carries that human for 9 months and carries the DNA for that child for many years after. I expect after her son was killed they didn't have much of a marriage. If it happened in the last half of the 20th century or now, you can bet that she would've been very vocal about the whole murder. What a horrifying death, im sure the Lord is holding Stewart close. Ron. I was surprised to open my phone and see a notice that you posted a video today. I've been missing your great voice and well researched reports. Others don't compare, all amateurs! The same thing as far as the hazing goes happened at Clemson U in 2014. At 19 years old, Tucker Hipps was a sophomore at Clemson University in South Carolina. Tucker was a pledge at the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity when he lost his life. The mysterious circumstances surrounding his death and his fraternity “brothers” lack of help led to many suspecting them of wrongdoing.

@@FacesoftheForgotten This story was just appalling. I started out feeling really sorry for the parents {!!}and then was literally sickened by what happened. The ''Frat boy'' thing I have heard of, but it seems akin to Freemasonry, the oaths and secrecy and never 'dobbing' in a fellow member. The fact a so called father could do such a thing, and then cover it up is breathtakingly arrogant and shocking.
