Preston Stops Breathing at Night!!! Preston has been dealing with sleep apnea as well as swollen tonsils and adenoids. In return, it causes his breathing to pause for up to 10 seconds while he's sleeping. Which means his oxygen drops and causes other issues.

He probably needs tonsillectomy either way, but this is more alarming than I feel anyone is recognizing... which is annoying and concerning. He should see a pulmonologist and have a sleep study ordered, wouldn't be surprised if apnea

I had my tonsils taken out I know how he feels and after I had my tonsils taken out I never had a problem at night my oxygen wouldn't drop or anything but he may have to be put on a c-pap and it's just a machine that shows his doctor what he does at night I hope he gets better I know how it feels sending prayers for him

Sounds like either his tonsils have to be removed, or he has sleep apnea. Get him set up with a sleep study to find out.

My daughter had a sleep study actually she have a bunch of fun it’s really fun it’s just that they might be a little scared the wires don’t worry about them they have stuff they’ll keep them on if you have to have a sleep study don’t try to fight back it cause these can happen so just go ahead and get a sleep study and not worry about it but if you don’t need a sleep study then just don’t get it but don’t get it cause sometimes it feels intimidating but it’s fun my whole family‘s done it

Get his tonsils removed it will help him breathe better and he’ll feel more comfortable in bed and no more snoring and no more breathing stopping!!! But he will be in pain for about two or three days after the surgery so ya you can make his life better if you do get the surgery done
