Goodbye, Sweet Kona

Today our family will be sharing some of the saddest news we have had since we became a family. Our sweet Kona is gone. She was such a big part of our family. We got her when David was just a baby, and I chose her from her litter because she had the prettiest looking head. We brought her home on a rainy Valentine's Day evening and we were so excited about having our first puppy. Since then, Kona became a mother herself, then she "mothered" our new puppy Hana. The two of them have been inspirable since the day Hana joined our family. This vlog tells the story of her last day with us and also celebrates her beautiful life. Thank you all for being a part of our story, even during the hard times like today. Our family is very very sad. The day after this video, we were going to take Kona on her first road trip, and she never got to go :(

This channel was my childhood and I know it’s 2024 right now but I always think Kona was still here right now because i didn’t expect it but when I found this video, I was shocked and I looked in and at first it was normal but then there was the part where they come with the sad news and I started getting tears and when seeing them give Kona their last goodbye, I started crying a lot and when it showed all the pictures they had with her and then at the end when everyone was leaving and when one of the brothers looked back to give a last look at Kona before he left the room and I am still crying right now, I’m so sorry that happened guys and I hope y’all are doing okay today.

I recently lost my dog last month, everyone who has a pet understands how much it hurts to say goodbye, I never got to say goodbye to my dog since she had to be put down at the vet. I still miss her everyday. Fly high! 🕊️ ❤️

I had a golden retriever just like Kona she passed away when I was about 2, I didn’t know what was going on I never got to say goodbye never saw her again. Watching this 3 years later still makes me cry and think about my Savanah. Also for my cat I was about it 3 my parents did not let me say goodbye.

omg the pain from losing my little girl just came flooding back when I saw Kona lying there. It is really the worst pain I have ever felt in my entire life. I don't know you guys, but I can tell Kona was surrounded by love and lived such a happy life with her family. Everytime I watch this video it never fails to make me cry. All of the kids and Kristen’s emotions always overwhelm me, but it’s something about Matt’s disposition through the time in the room with Kona that just affects me differently.
