I've never really been in a situation to "pay up over asking" at a yard sale but I came across one this weekend. A former ebay and local vintage toy store owner had a big yard sale of vintage toys in my area. I used to bring my kids into his store pre-covid. I told him I was now a serious ebay seller and he told me to start making a pile while we chatted. He made recommendations, we talked about things we'd sold. At the end of the deal I told him to make sure to round up as his prices were too low. He said "$100", so I gave him $200. The guy was over the moon happy and even gave me a couple extra things. We exchanged numbers as he has more stuff he will get rid of later. This was a connection I really wanted to develop as it will likely lead to more connections and even more good inventory. You guys inspired me to work on building that connection as I usually play the fact I'm a reseller pretty close to the chest. Even at $200 I'll do very well on this haul. Thanks!

A few years back I bought that Jango fett and few other figures for $40. And flipped it for $75... which was the going rate for it then. It's gone up a lot.... the vader you can just put any old trans-red light Saber in there. Very common piece.

I still have two old sony handycams from the late 90s early 2000 and a canon and sony camera of about round the 2005-2008, I wont part with them, as I still have all the mini dv tapes and 8 tapes, even still have a vcr player and a lot of vhs tapes. I film a lot so my newer camera are sony ax 53 4k .
