The most unbelievable thing for me, is that someone suddenly gets superpower that defy the laws of physics, and no one cares, there would be governments trying to get to the bottom of this, some would try to kidnap him, some would throw millions of dollars at him to get him to cooperate. The moment it was found out that he was the real deal the whole "demolish the place thing" would be thrown out the window as bigger fish enter the fray.

It's easy to forget when you're watching superpowered people planning a incursion through an interdimensional portal and someone says they're going to carbon date the silicon and you know, in your heard of hearts, they meant radiometric dating because silicon isn't carbon and you lose any illusion that the smart people in the show are smart and suddenly it's all just acting and you hate everything.
