RESOLUTION (2012) is a sequel to what? Certainly not SYNCHRONIC (2019). Supposedly, SYNCHRONIC, THE ENDLESS (2017), and SPRING (2014) are loosely tied to RESOLUTION, as in they could be based in a shared fictional universe, of sorts, but that would make RESOLUTION a jerry-rigged prequel, not a sequel. Is there a movie that comes before RESOLUTION that's based in an earlier part of the timeline, which is also in the same fictional universe?

I think Resolution more or less is the first in the universe. At least it is earlier in the shared time than The Endless as Justin and Aaron are briefly shown in Resolution as members of the cult that The Endless shows them revisiting 10 years after their escape. Synchronic is tangentially related as the red powder from the desert is used in the drug. I'm not sure how Spring fits into this universe but I'm going to rewatch since someone told me that "Shitty Carl" is the bartender in the opening scene. There are other Easter eggs knowing how deep Benson and Moorehead go in these. I need to see Something in the Dirt. It supposedly is chock full of Easter eggs. I think these guys' work is great. Just my 2¢.
