I have been anti abortion since I was young. My classmate in middle school told me how she used the abortion pill to get the baby out and was holding the baby in her palm. Through that description alone, I learned that fetuses are tiny humans. People should take responsibility for their own actions. It's as simple as that.

I’m glad he changed his mind about killing babies. It is interesting that he mentioned twice that babies aren’t alive until they are born that is why he was ok with abortion. But I hope people can understand that from the day of conception a human being is created with a separate body (living human). Just because you can’t see the baby because the child is safe in the mother’s womb doesn’t mean the child isn’t a living human being.

Here in Switzerland I do not personally know anyone who would want to ban abortion, but I do not know anyone who would allow abortion the day before birth, either. Here it's allowed up to week 12 of the last period (around week 10 to 11 after conception) and the majority is fine with that (74% in the official vote in 2002, about 80% now). It's shocking how this man can change from one extreme position to the other. However, if a pretty woman wants to protect babies a man has a strong impulse to agree, so the interviewer may play a part in this conversion.

It's the "modern progressive" sex education that gives euphemisms for the unborn child, like fetus, clumps of cells", not human yet. At 12 weeks that baby is well formed and mostly needs to grow. Saying it's ok to allow feticide for whatever reason seems barbaric to me. Many abortion clinics don't allow the woman to see the ultrasound or listen to it either, but they are required to give a still picture of it by law now.

When you hear the heartbeat it is a wonderful moment for an expecting parent, as I know from experience, but obviously the woman must avoid bonding with the unborn baby if she has decided to kill it. It is best to minimize stress and avoid trauma in this situation. It's not a nice thing to do, but forced birth is worse.

As science progresses, such milestones are revised and I find it safer not to allow abortion for personal reasons still in week 20 as in several U.S. states. However, week 12 should be acceptable. So what she was saying about late term abortions was actually questioning him so that she could understand his position on the matter. Live Action is against all abortions.
