Had a Sombra leave immediately after getting dinked. Rest of the match was goog, got called a great Hanzo by enemy Genji when I 1 tapped him during Ult and dashes. Guess all I'm saying is thanks for the videos, my hit rate has gone from mid tens to 30+%, crit rate is still single digits so need a lot of work but I'm happy that I'm improving.

I thought that it was the actual shot on the tracer. It looked like a whole AI process of moving northeast and then north, straight to the head. To me, a gold player, it looked sketch, and the accuser is really sounding like a tilted gold player throughout the vid. It is just silly that the person finds a single shot that looks relatively sus and says that describes the whole player. If you look right after that, the mans does a limp noodle shot and melee to destroy a mine to not die. No bronze would do this. Instead, they would run in fear to the nearest wall to climb.

I love how the clip the dude took for evidence was the clip where Arrge was explaining what a cheater's aim would look like. I found it funny while watching the original in the video how those two shots were the only sus clips (only because they were extremely good shots, while he was also altering his aim to explain what hacker's aim looks like--his normal aim style is far different as the two shots displayed are less consistent), but neither were against the accuser. The dude combed through the entire match and managed to land on the only two abnormal flicks, haha It's funny that the only sus clips the dude can find were a) not against him, and b) where he was specifically trying to explain what aimbots do. Can't blame the guy too much though, as I've faced a few projectile hackers and Arrge aims way better and more consistent than even hacks. Hacks work based on prediction movement and projectile speed, but the predictions are limited to linear movement. At higher ranks, Arrge specifically aims to target strafing which hacks can't emulate. Obviously Arrge can't be as consistent as mechanical aim, but when he's on fire, his aim is arguable better than cheats :)

I think my best memory of playing Overwatch was getting called an aimbotter by a Widowmaker... I was playing Zenyatta. Widow kept going back to the exact same spot to snipe, so I would just spam a charge shot in the same spot everytime they started shooting and kill them. They never learned.

From what I know about what an Aimbot does playing as Hanzo while using one sounds like the worst decision ever, because they are developed specifically for the near instant travel speed of bullets in shooter games, while a Hanzo has to lead their shots or else be in near melee because a bow and arrow does not shoot at such a high velocity.

I don’t even think an Aimbot with Hanzo would work with how much you have to predict your shots due to how slow the arrows are compared to other characters (bastion, soldier, widow, etc)

There is something called triggerbot which works by pressing the button while the enemy is in the crosshair automatically, and also special projectile aimbots for projectile heroes like Hanzo or echo, which snaps onto enemies then calculates where they're going and presses the button when at the perfect moment, it looks pretty weird tho

To be fair, I don't think it would be insanely difficult to make a trigger bot that accounts for projectiles, as there is aimbot for that. There are games like banjo kazooie in 1997 have used inverse kinematics for projectile motion to predict your movements and account for projectile travel time to hit the target. It wouldn't be too hard to imagine to build a trigger bot built around that concept. Just some food for thought.

I kinda get it that some people might think the clip at the end was cheating, but how do you even hit moving enemies at very close range without flicking as a normal human? Just because he moves his mouse very slowly therefore he's cheating when he flicks? I'm always amazed how these kind of people even exist, how big is their ego that they can't handle some people are just genuinely good. It would've been more convincing case if he was playing hitscan, but no and watch how many times he killed people long range with leading the arrow or predicting their movements. That's just how you use hanzo, flick if enemies too close and moving in an unpredictable way, or lead the arrow a bit depending on how far the enemy is from your position.

Obviously without cheating. The thought that it's basically luck on one's side that prevents such a thing happening completely destroyed the game. You play good, someone doesn't like it and reports you, they believe you're cheating, claiming they have proof even, and you get banned. I opened a new account but it feels like it's only a matter of time until for no reason I'd lose everything I collected, so I don't collect anymore.

My advice, if you get accused of cheating even once, start streaming, even if no one watches, just so you have video proof of your gameplay in case you have to contest a report, and if you get lucky you might get some viewers! Only good players get unjustly accused of cheating 😁
