I was in a pub in Kogarah NSW one night years ago, Kostya and some of his mates were there for few quite drinks too. A few of the local grade school gangter's from Bankstown came in and started to try to throw their useless weight around, they saw "The Champ" sitting at a table with some people and decided they were going to try to big note themselves. BIG MISTAKE. Tough guy number one managed to rile Kostya enough to get him outside in the carpark. BIGGER MISTAKE, The guy tossed out a wild hand, aimed in the general direction of nothing, Kostya stepped left, and threw back with a one,two combo....the guy hit the ground harder and faster than his own ego. He was mopped up by his crew, throw completely unconscious in the backseat of the car they came in and they left quicker than they arrived. ANYONE stupid enough to get in a ring with anyone from the TSZYU family is in for a VERY BAD DAY and really should think twice on their life choices......

Before the fight biggs had ever right to say what he said. And the first round back it up. Once Nikkita got into the fight he slowly wore him down to the pt . It was the right call for ref to stop it. But it was one hell of a fight. Great fight by to young Aussies with both big things to come. Proud 🇦🇺 here. Both fighters left nothing in the change rooms

Nikita has been thrown in the deep end, against hardened pro’s with good chins and heavy hands, and in only 8 fights has improved dramatically. His defence has improved, but needs to go to a whole new level, over his next 2 to 3 fights. To do what he has done in 2 years of pro boxing, is an amazing accomplishment. Nobody in the world wants a piece of him, in his weight division, but eventually they will be forced to put their chins on the line.

Kid's a great fighter, but ATM he takes unnecessary risks - that's why he got tagged early. That will get out of his game as he gets more experience against better fighters. I think he has the ability to be even more successful than Tim over his career. We'll see if he can match the achievements of his old man in the next decade. I'm looking forward to it!
