I heard the testimony of this priest ..a spiritual son of Padre Pio : Fr Derobert or something like that (he wrote many books and there are videos on you tube) He is French. An important detail Sr emmanuel.did not say . After he was slap by Padre Pio, he saw his guardian angel in Padre Pio's eyes...I think he said his pupil. Am.not sure. AMAZING

For from being an expert on this, but I wouldn't worry much about that. Our Guardian Angels are constantly with Him. It's not that they're in exile. It's more complicated than they're just "beside us". Probably they can adore Him in an additional manner, true, but I'm sure the angels are more happy that we get there and give Jesus full attention than if they can get anywhere. That's what they are tasked with. As purely spiritual beings, they aren't really confined to a single physical place, even if we see so when we are allowed to, if I recall some theologian correctly. - For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 18:10)

I bought the book "Make Friends with the Angels" for my kindle. Started to read it and can't put it down. Bought copies for my children too. I have talked to my Guardian Angel for many years. The prayer to my Guardian Angel was the 1st prayer my mom taught me when I was 4, 80 years ago. Say it often each day. Now speak with him daily. Have also asked him to travel with some dear friends and family and protect them when they travel. He gives me great comfort and has saved my life several times. I wish I knew His name. He has treated me very well. Angels "ARE" real!!

Indeed, prayer is powerful. I was blessed last year to attend a mass honoring St Padre' Pio , and his relics were present. You could feel the hush of holiness in the church. So, today, I ask St. Padre' Pio, pray with us, Dear Lord, for all the people listed above and all your children needlessly suffering, bring them healing, comfort, and mostly the grace of your loving presence. Thank you, Doggo. I saw Judge Frank Caprio after Mass yesterday and he looks wonderful. I believe he finished his chemo treatments. I told him we were praying for him and he was so appreciative. If you didn't know he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, you would never know he was ill. He looked vibrant and healthy! Our creator is a mystery. Because of that, Jesus shows us the way (in a way) that makes sense. Most of the time my prayers are silent, existing only in thought. Obviously, there's nowhere to hide from Jesus' father, so I assume the prayers are heard. I think it might be silly to imagine that God could possibly miss a prayer because you didn't execute it properly. However... Sometimes I feel the need to speak it.

I love Padre' Pio, but..this makes me laugh at the extremes in .different cultures. The earliest thing I can remember my mother telling me (like age 4) was No one is allowed to hit you Ever. Get up and walk away. Big believers in the safety of our personal space! But St. Pio still a great saint.

This priest is Jean Derobert who was priest at Montmartre Sacre Coeur in Paris. You can find many of his testimonies in French on YT. Quite an interesting life as a spiritual son of Padre Pio. He was even killed in Algeria during the 1954-62 war... and lived to tell about it.

You got to look out for blessed slaps. I was going on holidays the other day and planning to drink wine when I ran into someone I used to drink with who I cant stand. I immediately repented of wanting to drink. This person has appeared several times when I was drinking and now just the sight of him turns me off. God permits this because he knows it will cause me enough pain to not drink. So painful as it is on reflection I am thankful and also sober.

It is not biblical at all to pray to angels. Read the word of God and you will not find anyone doing this. The Bible says that there is only one mediator between God and men. Paul wrote: (1 Timothy 2:5) For there is one God, and >> ONE MEDIATOR
