This vlog was special to me. My Grandmother graduated from Montreat when she was young, she passed away in 2017. But, I was so proud to hear the stories of my Grandmother going to college, even though her family had no money to send her. She worked very hard, and completed her dream of a higher education in a time where not many women did that.

Isaiah, I’m speaking from experience, choose the small school!!! After watching the more recent blogs I know App State is your top choice, but I have to agree with your dad, you would THRIVE at Montreat. I went to a small college in PA, had small class sizes and most of my professors were the department heads. I graduated 13 years ago and can still walk on campus and professors and staff still know me. It’s an awesome feeling.

Love you guys so much. Thank you for sharing this special family event with your fans. You guys are the best! Please encourage Isaiah to carefully look at the financials and instate/out of state involved in each school. Isaiah, you should really listen to your mom about seeing all the campuses (even ones you don’t like). I walked onto my campus during a visit and HATED it, but ended up there because of family things. I ended up loving the school I went to. I never gave it a fair shake, as it were. So my advice, give all schools a fair go and to look the school up on social media so you can get an idea of the campus atmosphere.

Well, I subscribed back in March after watching one of your videos on FB. Random, as I am not subscribed to anything autism related and have no relation to autism. I got hooked, and that’s saying something since I’ve never been interested in the vlogging world. Your family dynamic, your love for each other, and the way you treat Abbie is definitely addictive. I couldn’t stop watching after I got started, so I went all the way back to the beginning. I have now officially watched all of your videos (You’re welcome for the 800+ views and watching all those ads lol). When I subscribed, you had 130K subscribers, and now you have 245K, closing in on that 250! What an accomplishment! I’m so proud of you guys and what you represent. You are a wonderful family, and I’m so glad you share your lives and your day to day struggles and triumphs. P.S. So about those brown Fathering Autism sunglasses... Coming back into stock yet??? ;)

I did respite care & it was a similar situation as with your family & Summer because I wasn’t just a stranger it was for a boy my age & his family that I lived down the street from my whole life. The mother already had me working for them so I ended up doing everything I needed to do to become a respite worker & work solely for them. MY POINT TO THIS IS I live in California & I got to go on vacation with them to New York & I would have never had that opportunity without them! They became like family & I am so thankful for getting to do that!

As a college junior, I understand the pressure of finding the right college. But I have to fully agree with what you all did about a small campus. I go to Northwestern College in Iowa (about 1200 students enrolled) and you just get to become close with not only other students on campus but you become part of your professors family. It is way easier to get to know the professors and get a chance to go get coffee when in a smaller college. I love the small feeling and I would highly recommend it Isaiah!! God bless you all! I just started watching your videos and love your family! I had a best friend in from 1st grade till graduation from high School that had autism and it was one of the best times of my life getting to know him! He is one of the many reasons why I want to be a elementary teacher with a special education endorsement.

I’m new to the channel but I love watching the vlogs! Just some insight on the college decision, I personally go to a small college (1200 students) and I absolutely love it! I love how historical it is!!!!!!! 😁💗💗💗💗💗 The mountains in the background how gorgeous, and it's got such lovely green grass and trees so pretty 😀😄💖💖 Haha Isiah's face when he realized he had said too much! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂💓 We've all being there, not relationship territory, just in terms of where you accidentally reveal something 😊 That was so funny Priscilla's reaction when there was a Gas Station in the mountains 😂😂😂😂😂💕, which meant she could prove her family wrong, they weren't gonna break down before they could find a gas station ☺❤💜
