For those who don’t get it, I see it as someone telling their partner what to do and what to change about themselves. She took away the things he loved, and it started hurting the relationship more, making a mess of things. It took too much effort, and she eventually stopped trying to clean it up. He became miserable, and he tried to get back at her.

The metaphor behind this means that the guy took off his skin (his mask) for the woman. Even though it hurts, even though it's what he is used to. He became transparent to her. And she was happy because 'she can now see it all'. But as time goes by, she didn't like him being transparent too much. She gets annoyed easily and hates it deep down when he felt cold, (he became vulnerable and fragile by being tramsparent to her). He became silent because he's not happy without his mask (his skin). That is why at the end, he wanted her to take off her skin as well, so they'll be both transparent to each other.

For me, "guy took off his skin" interprets him giving up and sacrificing his own hapiness just to be with the girl and to show him that he loves her. But the consequences are hard for him, still he chooses to "not wear his skin" or in reality he chooses the hard life just to be with her love. The blood is his imperfections and short comings, but the girl understands and she is trying to be considerate of the situation. Their friends came asking if it's hard etc. shows that their friends are judging him for his situation in life. But as we can see all of them are in good situation including the wife (they have their skin) At the very end the guy was trying to take off her skin, I think in reality the guy wants to see the wife to do the same thing, to take off her skin as well or in real life To show her sacrifices as well coz it seems like only the guy is putting effort in the relationship That's my own interpretation.

I think this story was trying to teach us something, Very raw and very real. The skin was just an artistic expression of something that is deeply part of who you are or connected to what you are. He loved her, wanted to make her happy and save their relationship, so he took away apart of him self that she didn’t like for what ever reason, but though he was willing to sacrifice it, it wasn’t easy and you could see the effect and impact it was having on their lives. I think In the end he wanted her to understand his suffering or maybe do the same for him. There is a lot of outcomes to this story, even if she does change will it last? Maybe not, because it’s a painful way to live, or maybe their love is strong enough to overcome anything who Knows. I think the artist wanted to express relationships. I guess people missed the storyline? It wasn't plesent to look at, sure, but there was a story behind it. Basically and simply put, she wanted him to show every piece of himself and make himself vulnerable. She wanted to know and see everything and he gave her what she wanted because he loved her that much-- skin represents secrets and everything else we all hold onto in our lives in this film. The thing is, she was uncomfortable with doing the same for him. He lived his life openly, showing her everything, and yet she couldn't do the same for whatever reason.

I think it's a matter of interpretation. My own is, he did something to make her happy, but in the process lost something which was more dear to him then he realized (symbolized by skin in this instance) which later on made him contemplate the enormity of what he gave up and couldn't get back...It was such a big sacrifice that it altered his life and made him miserable..while she was reaping the benefits of it by being happy. His pain, but hey she's happy... Subsequently resentment and hatred settled in and he wanted to make her go through a similar sort of loss in revenge.

What I found interesting was that for her it was kind of natural that he shows his true feelings but when it comes to herself she is still struggling to open up fully. Maybe this can also be interpreted as commitment to the relationship. What I mean with overview is... The blood stains are showing exactly what he has been doing, so she even noticed that he picked up the picture for example.
