it's the mini-mega ramp - it's pretty average for a large size halfpipe of the 80s - with the added benefit of all the roll in stages in the hump in the middle (for beginners) . it's not easy but that's the point

Damn he really does have insane talent. 1st try. Some of that is really only his 1st try? Thats majorly impressive. Sometimes I see him bail and I’m like why did he bail he had it. But I realize now that he knew he didn’t have it and he knows when to bail to avoid injury. That is so very important. Most people would just end up taking a hard slam and getting really hurt. His ability to fall properly is one of his best talents.

If you wanna know how terrifying the Mega Ramp really is, have a look at the video Bucky Lasek shot during COVID a few years ago. He walks the ramp and shows you the take off, the roll in and how far it really is between the ramps. He actually says of the far ramp, "No, that's not an optical illusion, it really is FAR AS FFFFFFF." Just seeing the ramp from the vantage point really hammers home the guys who can ride that are on another level for sure. Bucky also skates Bob's vert ramp that Bob recently poured concrete over and there's some other really sweaty palm stuff in that section as well like Bucky showing the drop off the back of the corner where he does an invert. 15:11 That bail made him look like a cat when you drop them upside down lol, his awareness in the air is ridiculous. I remember growing up on trampolines, some of my friends could just to twists/ double flips no problem, I could flip once but being upside down is so disorienting. Some people seem to have a superior vestibular system/coordination and know where they are at all times. It really seems like something you're born with, has anyone here been able to learn that or gotten the hang of it? Edit - 16:05 that bail too its crazy how still his head stays even with his body flailing around hes able to return to a safe position
