The only issue I had with how the tournament was ran was sometimes the camera will focus on the casters talking for 20 mins then when they go back to the duel it already concluded. We can listen to you guys talking but please we’re here, first and foremost, to watch the duels! If they start dueling you have to switch priority to them, come on!

No extra techs, just the most efficient engines and core

Iirc in this tourney there's a rule that if they are going to share a card. There should only be 3 copies in total across all 6 decks they have. If it's semi-limited then there's only going to be 2 cards. Ex.) If 1 deck has 1 Called by the Grave, then only 1 deck can have another Called by. So the trick here is to create decks that has little to no overlap of cards or techs in every 6 chosen decks they're taking to the tourney. Or else 1 deck has to compromise. Ex.) As you can see on the Tear mirror match, Jesse Kotton compromised with his deck. His deck had no Zeus because his teammate using Spright had taken the limited Zeus. Though Konami had given them a choice of 3 cards that they can share on multiples. Iirc snipehunters had chosen Maxx C, Ash, Triple Tactics Talent. So all those cards are present in all of their decks.

Somehow those official eng caster only commenting small amount of gameplay, just tiny bit of what happened, not explaining card per card like Dkayed does, I do not know if they even play this game. For me a returnee, it is nightmare, I prefer Dkayed commenting in His weekly tourney, it is so good and makes a returnee like me understand the meta.

Imagine going to worlds finals and getting maxed c’ed 3 games in a row and auto losing. This card is definitely ok. The perfect moment was when he was going second vs exocisters and the exo player maxed c’ed him on his turn after setting up a full exo board, meaning that using called by the grave to negate it would trigger 3 exo xyz monsters.

I think you didn't give the casters a fair chance. You were quite for like 10s an then casted over them anyways. Those casters were actually great. Two former world championship competitors with billy and marcello with a lot of casting experience in ycs's. It does not get much better knowledge wise. The third caster is a professional Lol caster and also playing in Locals so a great trio imo.

Each team all together has to use a shared pool of cards, so for example if one person is running Zeus, his teammates cannot run it. The exception is that each team can choose 3 cards that they can share, meaning all 3 members of the team can run that card. Every team chose maxx c and ash as 2 of their shared cards, with the third varying between different teams.

Honestly I think he really chocked because of his deck choice for that game specifically. Exo sister is a awful matchup for dragon link and yet he played it anyway. That’s on him. Even if Emerson chose labyrinth, the mirror is still a better match up. Labyrinth would have been a better choice no matter what deck Emerson chose.
