Team TwoTwo headed back out to MotoBros Okeechobee in preparation for the race weekend. The kiddos got the chance to spin some laps on the racetrack, dialing in their lines and learning the somewhat familiar environment. It's cool to watch both of them progress since the last time we were here, especially seeing Tate WANT to gain speed and get better!
Welcome to TwoTwoTV! We're the Reeds. Chad Reed is a multi-time Supercross and Motocross champion and the record holder for the most main event starts in AMA Supercross history, with 265 starts! Ironically when Chad retired from racing, the kids decided to start. It’s a full-circle movement for the Reed family. Join us as we navigate retirement and start again. We bring you on the journey as our kids learn with Chad and Ellie. Taking a fresh approach to coaching and learning with a major focus on fundamentals and solid foundations. Our hope is the viewers can also learn and be inspired as the kids strive for their own success in this great sport. We hope you enjoy the ride!

There are so many kids that need to hear those corner tips about clutch riding and spooling the bike up. Amazing advice and given to the kid calmly and firmly. Kids gonna be good.

Tate looks ready to dial in his technique to be the kid!! Kiah's competitive nature will keep her off the big wheels for the moment but she is definitely not ready to let Tate get the upper hand. Pace is living the life👍🏾

Black gear with red back looks great lil Reed Dog (Tate) Kiah is loving getting the victory over the bigger jumps she’s been putting off. Pace is just laid back. Dad , keep feeding their minds with the knowledge it takes years to get on your own. Mom , A+ for keeping them grounded and making it fun. Luke 9:62

💯 chad 10minutes in. Can see Tate's body position this year is faster but looks like the way he is using the bike is holding back from going to the next level. It will click with seat time and listening to dad! Good luck this year. Love the content! "Yeahh the Reeds!"

I'm very proud of Tate he has really improved at a really awesome rate and I'm sure he feels the pressure of being CHAD REEDS son. Well I just want him to know that he should be proud of himself and that he should be really proud of himself for his progress and for handling the pressure he must feel being the son of one of the greatest to ever do it. Tate just remember for those who think the last name makes it easy us real riders know that "YOU" have to be the one who rides the bike no matter what and that it is you who is doing the work and twisting the throttle. So keep your head up and keep on grinding because it's not easy no matter who you are and remember that sometimes it may not seem like it that hard work will pay off and when it does sometimes it will come quick sometimes it'll seem like it's months between times when you can sell the difference but it does pay off to keep working hard your dad will lead you the right way but again we all know you have to do the work and that you're doing it and you should be proud of yourself for the improvements you've madeI can tell 100% improvement in your writing from when I started watching you all be keeping an eye on you and I'm proud of you and Chad you should be proud of him too and I know you are you and your wife are two good parents and I'm really glad to see that you're such a part of your kid's life it's awesome to watch I'll keep watching your videos and keeping up with your kids and kaya proud of you for hitting those jumps today

Parents want their children to be successful at whatever they do but not all children of supercross legends will have the same will, love and determination of their parent who was a star no matter how much effort they put into it . The Deegans did it right , they did not want any of their children to get into motorcycle racing it was only after Haiden showed real love and incredible natural talent that they changed their minds.

If you go to big wheels especially for Tate he should be on a 125cc or 250cc 2 smokers maybe a 250f four stroke but i think Tate would rip a 125

I know Tate is still a kid but I've noticed a change is his personality basically since he started puberty. Kinda seems to be getting a little ego going. Probably cause he's getting faster and people know who he is cause of his last name. I love the reeds and always gonna cheer for kiah and tate and pace but I really hope Tate doesn't start getting overly cocky. I could be totally wrong but when he talks to the camera he just seems a little...idk
@elliereed_mrstwotwo
@elliereed_mrstwotwo 5 ай бұрын
I think it’s really tough to talk with a camera in your face. So to exude any amount of confidence is a skill. I think that’s what people need to remember most. It’s actually not easy - so u have to find a way to have fun with it. When he isn’t confident people criticize that he doesn’t have it. When you are - you’re cocky. The world is a fickle place and maybe we should just celebrate people being brave enough to do what they do.

@jones0618 I don't know where you are getting this idea of Tate acting cocky, Tate has always been a very quiet, why, and reserved with his personality in front of the camera. Now that he has had a camera in his face all the time for the past couple years he is starting to actually say things for himself and you can tell he is still not very comfortable talking to the camera. I have been in the film industry for almost 20 years as a Director of Photography and I know when I see someone anxious and not comfortable being in the spotlight and I can say with 100% confidence that Tate is one of those, but he is because he is someone that is honest, he isn't selfish at all and always is building up his little sister and I can tell has her back all day everyday. Tate is a really good kid, and he is now at the stage where he is getting comfy on that bike and either he embraces the confidence and uses it correctly as he is getting faster and able to throw the bike around but his shyness is what holds him back from really finding his speed and race craft, he still doesn't seem like he wants it had enough yet, but again... That could be because he has some of the biggest shoes to fill in all of MX and SX history. If Tate starts really wanting to win like I did, I couldn't even take a warm up lap cause I just had this issue where if someone passed me even on warm up lap, I wouldn't allow that because I was so competitive, but Tate doesn't seem to have that competitive edge which is prolly because he is the fastest and the oldest of the Reed kids, if Pace started riding seriously and racing and started to show Tate a wheel, that is the push that Tate really needs if he really wants to try the Pro Moto Career thing, his Dad pushing him doesn't work really because he has been taught to be submissive to his father l, but boys similar age usually are competitive.

I said I was watching his sister ! Who just started jumping jumps! He always gets the attention we were having a laugh that she is catching him because she is getting sendy too! Common ! It’s hard enough when our kids are in the same practice . Chad and I tag team and I usually watch kiah and he watches Tate. So that there are eyes on them both not 1 child. Watch the video again knowing it’s his sister and see if u feel the same.
