The ‘Pod on the lake’ was an especially difficult to find on the satellite views in Google Maps, in that the imagery was quite dated with the pod being placed well after the photos were taken. I’m not sure about the Thailand location . . . having been hooked starting with the South American adventure, I was late coming to the Itchy Boots party. I’ll have to back-track to the starting point in India, but that will be something to look forward to. Most of the time I can find the starting point, destination, and perhaps a few waypoints during the trip. Quite easy when Google Maps has satellite imagery and street views, but I’ve not found any location in Namibia with GM street views, just images posted by shop keepers. Northern Europe, South Africa, and the larger cities in South America had quite good coverage. I think one of my ‘best finds’ was the ‘cocoa break’ location in Iceland. In that case both the GM satellite and street view images came before the building, so that took some inference. What episode has the ‘tree house’?
