Seeing Maria grinding nuts for the cookies brought back so many childhood memories for me. We had the same grinder and it was usually my job when I was Maria's age. I was happy to see the 50 cent pieces cookies too. The embossed shortbread are so beautiful! I might try to do that some time. I wanted to give that baked spaghetti a try for dinner tonight and I just googled tiktok baked spaghetti and several different ones came up, but I found one very close to the one you had. A lot of them had cottage cheese or cream cheese in them.. I just wanted the basic alfredo like you had. The one I chose "TikTok Spaghetti Alfredo" by The Mommy Mouse Clubhouse. You talked about your temperature and today in my part of Texas it hit 89 some areas 91. We usually hit around 50 to 60. A few weeks ago it was 12 it never gets that low. Tomorrow they say going to be a front come in temperature drops about 20. Beautiful Christmas Eve. Have a blessed day.

I Also do the coloured sugar, but i lay it out on a baking tray and put in the oven for 20 mins, then add mine into ziplock bags, it lasts for ages i have all the colours of the rainbow, my grand children love to bake and use them .you dont need to do big batches of them just 1 0r 2 colours and bake them if you have your oven on -spare shelf thats not being used There is a video on youtube ,sorry cannot remember the channel name

Another wonderful video... I adore the music that you chose for most of this one. "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" by one of the great composers in the history of music, Johann Sebastian Bach, people recognize the tune, but don't get exposed to the words very often. I love dishes and boy that casserole dish is just sweet! Your Christmas Eve table looks so inviting. I unfortunately had the stomach flu over Christmas and I feel as if I missed Christmas completely, once I was feeling better after New Years I cleaned up the decor and said to my family that I was glad Christmas will come around again next year :) But I have to say, after watching this video I feel I could dig out my decorations and grab a new tree and have Christmas this weekend HAHAHA! Wonder if anyone else in my family would be up for it ;)
