@@KenMiddletonUkulele I have only really heard the bob version with his distinctive drawn nasal vocals some might say but I like Bob all same. I have not really worked out the chords but imagine a, 3 chord progression mostly with one of them being swapped for a seventh for a 4 strum patterns to add a seventh depth. I love the stories and the mostly simple ballad makeup of the folk songs.

@@chrisdavies7610 Surprisingly I have never heard Bob Dylan's version. I love the recording by both Willie Nelson and Nanci Griffith. The version I play has 5 chords; F Bb and C(7) and a brief modulation to the relative minor with A7 and Dm. The annoying thing about this traditional folk song is that it keeps getting a copyright claim on YT. They have no right to do this as no-one knows who wrote it.
