That quote got me also, but sadly the person that did all the harm to me and never would admit their faults and wrongdoings was my own father and up until the day he died he never admitted that he was toxic, abusive a master manipulator and the ultimate narcissist. Thankfully my husband was the person that saved me and has been there for me through more things than most men would even dare try to stand behind and be supportive. When I was younger like in my teens, people would always tell me “you usually end up marrying a man just like your father” and I would laugh and tell them that would not happen, I would rather be single my entire life than be with someone like my father was and I can say my husband is the complete opposite of my dad.

Not all cancers are bad, my husband is a cancer and he is a wonderful person, he drives me insane some days but I know I do the same to him it’s part of marriage. I’m a Scorpio so him being a cancer is my perfect match. We are about to celebrate 19 years of marriage and trust me everyone told us from the day we decided to get married we were rushing in and it would never last because we were only together for 8 months when we got married but I got pregnant one of the first times we slept together and he was in the army and got orders to deploy to Iraq and he refused to go on that deployment without us being married because he wanted to make sure if something happened to him our son would be taken care of. He even told me that if I wanted we could always get divorced once he came home but that he wanted to make sure his child would always be taken care of if he didn’t make it home. We have 2 boys that are 18 & 16 and we are currently on our 3rd round of IVF to have a baby girl. Yes we are both crazy to be starting over when our kids are practically almost adults but it’s something I have had my heart set on for many many years and my husband told me if that was what would make me happy and fulfilled and that I was willing to put my body through the process of IVF and another pregnancy knowing how hard my pregnancies with our boys were then he was fine with it. He does joke around and tell me that he isn’t changing diapers this time around and I just give him a side eye roll and kinda laugh and say ok, I know better than that. I know once I have that baby girl she will not only have her daddy wrapped around her finger but also her 2 big brothers because they can’t wait and are both praying for twins. My husband keeps joking and telling me that he is in trouble if this round is successful because that means she will be born a Scorpio also and he isn’t sure he is ready to deal with a mini version is me. Again I just roll my eyes at him and laugh and oh trust me it’s an evil laugh too!!!

Hey guys so I did mention at the beginning of the video that I’ve spoken about this person in a storytime before ( linked in the description for those who need a refresh ) the rest of the video is new information that I found out recently but I had to recap the past story that way this one made sense. You explain him exactly like I felt about my ex.. I can still sit here and remember how I felt just being with him, so secure, so loved, words of affirmation, he sweet and thoughtful, would sneak in the bathroom to grab my towel & put it in the dryer while I was in the shower so when I got out he would hurry to hand deliver my warm towel, I would walk into our room and he would have my clothes laid out on the bed and then would rub my back.. like just everything I wanted. He didn’t cheat but there was serious things I couldn’t get past like him having a couple Kid’s he didn’t try and see and didn’t pay child support for but he was around my kid everyday and amazing to her and i just couldn’t be that girl that’s with a man that sees my kid and does things for my kid but not his own.. I still love and care about him but it’s just one of those situations where I can’t..
@MM-ng8lj2 ай бұрын
That's so insightful of you to see that about him. You could have easily just accepted him and how he treated you and your little, but you saw how he treated his kids too and you couldn't look past it, you could have been kind of look the other way and lived happy but you took those kids feelings into account. You sound like a really good person. It also I guess makes you see someone different that can overlook their own babies and it makes you think if it ended with you 2 how would it be especially if you had kids together. Really admire your decision 🖤

It's been the hardest thing for me to accept that someone I loved and cared about intentionally hurt me and doesn't care!I am sorry that we share this heartbreak! Girls like Dakota always appeal to the “decent” part of the personality of the guy that they think exists, but it just does not. She has been an emotional place holder for a self proclaimed “victim” who posts soppy messages on Facebook how other people “wrong” him. Dakota obviously gets something from this too. She gets to be special and the “saviour” . Classic karpman’s drama triangle. Then when he doesn’t want her she becomes a victim and he’s a villain. None of these roles are healthy and Dakota really needs to ask herself why she goes for men that don’t completely choose her. What does she get from wanting to “win them”. She describes all the little “signs” she reads into, little “nice things” he did to show he cares… at the same time she knows this very well the guy isn’t completely into her, because if he was she wouldn’t need to “read signs” or ask if he “really wants it”. She’d be asking herself if it’s enough for her. This whole situationship she lives in her head. But it’s not about the other person, how they treat her and what they do or do not say. It’s about whether that’s acceptable for her. And if yes, then why?

I’m sitting here watching this and realizing that this is the exact situation I’ve been in since October of 2020. This has opened my eyes and made me think really hard. Its crazy that someone can go thru something and i can relate 1,000% i just wanna say thank you for sharing this and i will never forget it. This video really helped me realize stuff that i was completely blind about. I thought i knew everything but i guess I didn’t considering i found out so much more about him that i thought i already knew. The way you felt is exactly how I FEEL, and the way he acted is exactly the way my ex ACTS, but i just really wanted to thank you bc your videos have helped me thru a lot, especially this one. This one really made realize and didn’t just go thru one ear and out the other like the others ones have. They made me think but I never actually tried to change anything or do anything about my situation. Twin flames are the absolute worst heartbreaks to go thru and that’s the path im on rn. I can’t wait till i learn everything that i need to and can just move on from all this this and put it in my past PERMANENTLY. Btw im super proud at how far you came and it sounds weird saying that coming from a 16 year old to an adult. I really appreciate you sharing everything with us. This guy's behaviour is very very much like a narcissist's. they have no compassion, no actual soul if I may put it so (but they are good at faking emotions). They prey on your emotions, mostly bad, they start a relationship with a 'sugar show' , then they make you feel miserable and when you're out of energy they 'discard' you, but they never give up on you completely and continue to 'ping' you from time to time, to see if you recovered for them to return and prey on your emotions for some more time. And they always have a 'harem' of women, his fiance is also his victim, he got back with her to suck her out (maybe she recovered from their previous break up, pr maybe she is a fresh one), and continued to 'ping' you at the same time. You should block him everywhere and go on with your life feeling nothing for him. Any slightest chance for a narcissist to contact you is bad for you

Yes ! This is what I’ve been telling myself. Butterflies are your body’s way of warning you that this man is not for you. When you meet the person you’re suppose to be with it’s suppose to be a safe and calm feeling !! And wow what a testimony. This will give me and many other women hope so thank you ! And thank you for your kind words my love. I appreciate you ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Keep this clown 🤡 out of your life!!!! If you deal with him you could end up with S.T.Ds you can't get rid of or something that can kill you!! You're a beautiful girl don't let him emotional heath or physical health!!! Stay true to you!! Hugs 🤗

I'm not American so i honestly don't understand the concept of seeing a guy and not being in a relationship and then hurting yourself and your soul when you realise he's just using you... To all my ladies, if you wanna keep things casual w a man, make sure you can handle it first and expect no relationship type commitment, AND make sure you don't hold him accountable for whatever he does behind your back. If you don't want all of this trauma, set your boundaries and get into a relationship so you can hold the guy responsible if he fucks up. Please.

That guy is a narcissist. He pulls you in and then withdraws.. he finds power in that. Very manipulative.

I went through something similar except it was sexual and it lasted 5 years. You’re so mature beyond years and I’m so grateful I found your videos because I needed to hear all this so THANK YOU! I know this was probably hard and really nerve wracking for you but I am SO appreciative. I really hope I get to this point in my journey as you have. I start therapy tomorrow. ❤

My ex was exactly the same! Living a double life but posting all these quotes about love and relationships. It’s ridiculous 🤦🏽♀️

I had a Steven too and I felt so guilty when I place a boundary, asked him to stop talking to me and then he kept texting me like 🤯 after letting myself down and answering him and hanging out with him again I blocked him. I have cried too much to keep going through that. Listening to you, I don’t feel so alone. Thank you 🥹❤️

I starting crying when you said you know your husband is coming next. I was on & off with someone for a long time but never official he made me think he had all this trauma he had to deal with, just to find out years later that the whole time I was the side piece he would run to when things weren't good with his gf. I remember the night before I found out I had a dream that he gave me a ring that kept falling off & I kept gripping to it. I knew something was gonna come out & yep the girl messaged me in the morning. I stayed single single for 2 years, after that I reconnected with an old crush & its truly the best relationship I've ever been in to the point that I would cry on my drives home because I wasn't use to being treated so good. I KNOW your husband is coming & he's gonna be amazing like you!

Dakota, I hope you see this ! I do not know why I got this video on my suggestions , but this is the first video I saw from you and from now on, I am your fan. You are so , so smart , you gave me a life time knowledge and believe it or not , but my now husband was flirting with another girl while I was engaged with him. Honestly , I can not thank you enough. Love you !
