Poor Bianco. He's been through a lot of trauma. Bianco's old, his owner died, he's been passed around. Of course, he's edgy and frightened. Fortunately, he could not have landed in a better home to help him through this difficult transition.

Poor little guy. It breaks my heart he lost his owner then lost his home. On a brighter note, showing us first thing the Porter Moving Blanket Show (which always makes me laugh right out loud). Especially as his little head, and floppy ears come out from under the blanket to see his Daddy. Then precious Polly Pup adds her sweet face into the scene, and all is right in their home.♥♥♥😃

Chihuahua cross husky is what I have. Sounds funny, but the little guys normally impregnate the big dogs in some neighbourhoods and then nobody wants them! Sad, because often they are beautiful, perfect of course

🤧 aww he's gorgeous, may his former owner rest in peace, 🙏. I am not surprised he's nervous and unsure of things, his owner just died, his girlfriend suddenly decided she didn't want him, he's just been uprooted from his home he had for sometime, then put in to a shelter, now to yours, that's quite a lot for him to take in all at once, he's probably still grieving, bless him. Bianco is a cute little fellow, and barring any aggressiveness or other undesirable personality traits he will likely find a forever home quickly. I've found some dogs, especially small, indoor dogs who were constant companions, can mourn their dead, or just given up b/c the owner could no longer keep them, owners for up to a year or more; before the dog relaxes enough to let their true personality fully surfaces. I often wonder if it is easier for pets to outlive their caretaker/owner, or better for we humans to outlive our pets.

Aww. Well I'm glad to hear that! Chihuahuas have their common traits but for sure like with any dog It's all about their trainer :). Well, each individual is different too. Porter barely has ever barked for example while Polly used to bark a LOT but lot of training repetition chilled her out.

I’ve adopted 2 seniors who lost their ppl. The 1st bc the fam didn’t think they were a good fit for her, & the 2nd dumped in a shelter after his human passed. I realized they grieve. Misha came to us so sweet and polite, but about a year after adopting her she became glued to me and started yelling at me. She became the boss of the house. It’s like she was mourning & didn’t know if she could trust us enough to love us. It took time & her full personality and love were in full force. She was my little queen. After she passed we eventually adopted another senior whose human had passed away and was left in the shelter. He was a little monster from the start but kind of detached or stand offish. Tho he followed me evrywhere. It took about a year for me to really feel his full love start to bloom.
