I have a suggestion for stocking, storing and retrieving your golf clubs simple, easy so you will actually do it and not give up (simple is always the key!). First - get another trash can. Take duct tape (or something similar) and quarter off the top. Take one section and move all the baseball bats into that section. Second section - put in all the putters. Third section - al the drivers (might go into the fourth). If more space in #4, add in the weird things - ball retrievers, training clubs, etc. Now take the original can and sort out (onto the work table) the irons by brand - ping, taylor made, callaway, etc. Ideally you should have one section for each big brand and all the odd brands of only a couple could go into one section together. This should be easy to put new purchases in their sections and a whole lot easier to find orders. Also, if you end up going crazy with clubs, it would be easy to expand your stock. (FYI - My da had a shed ,10 x 12, FULL of odd clubs - literally full - on their sides floor to roof, of clubs and bags bags, cans and cans of loose balls and so many tubs of new balls in sleeves. He was a scratch golfer and was always winning and being given stuff. We loaded 3 truckloads of clubs to donate to assorted youth golf clubs and high schools when he passed.
