Didn't even have to watch the video to know the answer: Injuries. It's also the same answer for why the Seahawks "dynasty" didn't come to fruition and even why they didn't repeat as Champs. For all the talk about Wilson's interception, it's always been completely glossed over just how injury-riddled Seattle's defense was both before and during that '15 Super Bowl. Chancellor, Sherman and Thomas all had severe injuries that most players would not have even taken the field with. Then they lost Lane and Avril during the game, the latter injury crippling Seattle's pass rush which allowed Brady to get back on track and slowly pick them apart. One more mostly healthy season was all Seattle's defense ever had again, which is basically Chancellor's story as well.

Thank you for this. This guy was so understated, and just brought his lunch bucket every game. I loved to watch the quiet ferocity with which he played the game. He did his job, and more, and excelled at it. Ferocious.

Kam is one of my favorite players of all time. To me in his prime he was the perfect strong safety, he could do it all

As a carolina panther fan he was the MOST concerning player on that defense to me. They were our nemesis until 2015.

Great profile dude! My favorite player of all time. Was in Az for his last game. Crazy how euphoric that LOB era was and how it came crashing down.

I know manscape is sponsoring you to say the message, but thank you for bringing awareness to testicular cancer research. It means a lot coming from somebody who had it. I would never want anybody else to experience it.

This mans basically my favorite defensive player ever. Damn near cried when he had too retire due to his neck injuries. Crazy how good he was despite how soft the league has become. Inspiration.
