@@Xris-FJ1200 Maybe these are same engines, dont't know, this one belongs to my friend. I think those lifters are originally ordered oversize. That black DiamondLikeCoating doesn't increase the diameter that much. But these lifters are actually very small and thin all over. Also the block aluminum support area is pretty small. But If you wan't rpm's, you must loose weight. Lifter bores should't see that much forces that it would wear quickly? Both cams are totally custom made, with higher lift and different angles. This is going to be a turbo charged engine. I just welded pure HSS round bar for the blade material. You can also use old HSS drills (gold coated seems to weld better than black coated). I could also have used tool steel for the blank with quench and grind.
