Thanks for the break down👍. I've come to the conclusion that as of now PC2 still has the best dirt physics on console. Followed perhaps by SLRE.

Nice comparison. First thing I noticed was the lack of the Joker lap in GT7. But the few races I tried on GT7 I had a blast. Now we just need the Ford RS200 Rally Car in GT7.

Shame PC2 does not display its graphics properly on the PS5. I stopped playing it on PC because of the constant micro stutter which is also showing in you video. It was good on PS4 pro as the stutter was less noticeable. I still think PC2 is better than GT7, they need to bring out a PC4 as I think it could beat most sims out there

Regarding the placement of the starting grid and the way they grid the cars in gt7, I really think you ought to do some research

I did, I've watched Rally Cross since the 80s, Catalunya's start joins at the hairpin, not midway on the straight after it (PC2s is correct for its year of release). The WRX also uses in a line starting grids, not staggered.

The "national" layout is wrong Also, they use a bend and straight which is on the left side of the rear straight. On pcars 2 they set "national" the layout correct.

PC2 wins in track list, GT7 wins in every other way imo. The thing what really lets pc2 down is the handling feels sluggish and wollowy and has massive dive underbraking. I've played hundreds of hours of both and hold some of the lap records in certain categories in pc2 but still prefer gt7 hands down.

I don't find those issues with PC2 at all, maybe as I'm running on PC with custom FFB files

Got bored with GT7. Sold it. I don't play any racing games on console now. Just play other games. My SIM racing in purly PC now.
