Heimi Hallgrimsson will be to the Jamaican football, the same icon as Lars Lagerback, was Icelandic football. Lars Lagerback changed everything to the better, within Icelandic football and did it with Heimir Hallgrimsson as his assistant for the first years. You can clearly see that Heimir Hallgrimsson is putting his heart and mind to make Jamaican football better and success for the national team. I hope will do good, he is nice person and honest. I meet him once, played against him, in his hometown of Vestmannaeyjar. I broke me tooth in the game, and after the game, Heimir Hallgrimsson, who I was playing against, took me to his dental office and said this is "Tonnatak" (super glue), it will held your tooth in your mouth, forever. Then he laugh and smile. Super nice guy

Its a great thing having a coach that is not only a great coach but also so open with the media. It has been a while since the nation really got fully behind the team. Engaging with the media is an important part of drawing fans in to support. Him being willing to come here and engage, answering not only Mannings' questions but questions from the fans too, is something great. The coach has so much experience in all different types of football, at different levels so has the knowledge to help the program all round. I think he is going to be a very positive influence on the program. He speaks about being more professional in everything we do. This is music to all of our ears. Hopefully the JFF will fully support his ideas, not only for the management of the senior team but all aspects of football on the island. The future looks bright. We have a great situation, where its not that difficult to reach the next world cup so I expect him to achieve that and hopefully he is allowed to fully turn the program around from top to bottom. Mannings always does great interviews and this one was no different. Nice job Mannings. This one is appreciated

Manning a man will the coach be implementing a National Game Model that all the clubs in the country need to follow? 1. As a nation we have been talking about a Methodology for all our national teams to follow, will there be some changes now? 2. Will the be a scouting system in place for players who has Jamaican heritage? Just a few questions for starters.
