ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response it is described as a pleasurable tingling sensation that can be felt most commonly in the back of the scalp and down the spine but not limited to these area's.
I try to describe ASMR experience to people using something common like visiting a hairdresser, do you find the experience of someone focusing on you, the gentle touching of your hair, the sound of the scissors moving around you relaxing?
That would be a relaxing experience, watching ASMR video is like recreating that type of experience.
I believe most people can experience ASMR, to experience ASMR you need to find you trigger, common triggers will often be related to one person focusing on you or another person and watching this person focus or give them attention will trigger it.

Almost anything can be a "trigger' for a persons ASMR everybody is different, you just have to find yours.

Thst is the reason why I love watching videos of people get shampoos and massages! I love the comforting sounds that are made. This guy doesn't understand. He wasted your time. There are people who would have traded places with him. I feel tingles when I am fortunate enough to find a good video.

Dimitri's friend talks and smiles in this video, so not sure what people are talking about. Dimitri, you were doing some deep tissue massaging on his shoulders, so I almost thought you were going to do Reiki on him. Do you know that massage technique? A co-worker had Reiki done on him at work in the upstairs office, the sounds coming out of him, you woulda thought he was being tortured lol. Anyway, good video!

I think he said in one of his video that either him or his friend does this couch surfing thing, like when anybody can stay at their place, like a free hotel. So the people are usually travelers from all over the world. :) I might be wrong.

Thanks for a nice video Dmitri. However, I felt that the massage recipient was a bit uneasy about being in this video, and that affected my ability to relax and fully enjoy it. I think this kind of video is more effective with a more confident recipient.

What makes up the asmr video is clients reaction, if they enjoyed the video that is 50% of video, 50% of video is technique. Since he wasn't into massage by Dmitri, this is a weak asmr video.
