Really good advice. Never thought about how important it is to have a part for a star that is surrounded by characters that love your main character. You want the audience to love your character and root for them. So you need to have people around them to elevate them by their admiration of them, or maybe surround your lead with such terrible people that audiences like your character because they are not as horrible as those that surround them.
