Loved Head's innings and equivalently I think the way Labuschagne constructed his innings, especially since it was the hardest period of the match, was really impressive. Him leaving so well and playing off England's best options (Robinson and Wood) let Head and others cash in a little when Root, Stokes and Leach were bowling.

his approach was totally wrong as he was charging and looking to play more shots than usual against jack leach because Australia were 180-2 but that was wrong approach as he almost played two aggressive fault shots so early in his innings against him and also now Smith won't get to bat in the 2nd innings

Also you can say bowling Leach for 11 overs after it was clear after 4-5 that he was being targeted and has an economy of 8.5 was a blunder.

Carey was looking really good. Even though his score wasn’t great, he was part of a crucial partnership with Head. They both played aggressively and took on the bowlers. Carey got out and Head went on for a century, but they helped each other through a super difficult time in the match.

I never said he got out to a good ball, (imo he got himself out), but that doesn’t make his role in steadying the ship with Head any less crucial. There was, though, still the patented Gabba bounce and seam movement to work with but the English bowling lineup looked a tiny peck in the host's rear view. For travis head it looked more like a Big Bash other than typical ashes day.

Well, I don't think England bowled that bad. Yes, they looked tired towards the end of the day. Only if the English players would've grabbed the chances, this game would've been a 50-50 one.
