I currently have a therapy dog at my school and her name is Nelly. She makes me happy at my school and she is just a very awesome dog. I normally set goals on how many times I see her throughout my academic life or by the time I leave school. I used to set my goal to 1 billion times but I thought that would be too much. So I decided to reduce it to 10,000 times as that would have been a more achievable goal. I started counting the number of times I see her back on November 20, 2023. I saw her a total of 750 times so far, meaning there is still 9,250 more times to go before I reach my goal. I should be able to get to the 10K mark by July 2027.

I didn’t have anxiety until I started high school and the only thing that got me through my first year was my puppy, Leo. He would comfort me every time i would have a bad day, plus he was a border collie too!

I love that they got a border collie usually it's Labradors because they are so calm whereas border collies are not only cuddly but they are extremely playful as well

I am sorry but can I just mention this: Sir, he's bit my leg watch this and Buddy turns and sat down like butter wouldn't melt.. LOVE IT!!! My new school has a therapy dog, he’s a Labrador, since I wasn’t in last week I never met him, but I do suffer with bad anxiety, so if I have a panic attack (which would most likely happen since I’m bad at adjusting to new things) I might see the dog. I haven’t seen a dog since I had to give mine up last year due to moving to a rented house.
