Goran went in with a wild card and beat Moya, Roddick, Safin and Rafter which were all number 1 in the world at some point to win his first and only Grand Slam title at the tournament he loved the most, in which he got defeated in the final three times before.

Yeah Roddick's loss in 2009 was a killer, 16-14 in the fifth and the last game was Federer's only break of Roddick in the entire match. 0-3 vs. Federer in Wimbledon finals, but 2009 is the one that I'm sure really stings.

@KSadin But federer won 2 GS on grass in 10's as well and was a better player in 19 wimbi at age of 38, i myself put novak over federer overall as GOAT but on grass federer is the best. He was still making multiple finals including winning couple of them even in his 30's. Besides he did have some competition o0n grass courts with guys like hewitt or roddick or even henmen.
