I mean, you can do this, but he's magnanimous all on his own and he's like...King Scientologist, so really it doesn't matter if we make fun of him. Water off a duck's back. He's just too excellent a human to trifle with silly stuff that's below him like these insults. Making fun of Scientology, that's for lower level chumps. Making fun of him is like chewing out another driver from your car... they don't care, they can't even hear a word you're saying. Please help me, they're keeping me against my will...I think Tom is going to cook me up in a smoker and eat me. I told him he couldn't levitate and scientology is bullshit...

The thing is, Tom Cruise is so insanely rich, powerful, and bizarre that for all we know he had them sign a contract as a condition for his appearance that stipulated they must publicly credit him with improvising his own lines and being really cool. Now that's very unlikely to be true. But it's more likely with Tom Cruise than just about anyone else.
@kerrin66339 ай бұрын
That won't be true and limits freedom speech. What Tom did do is build a good reputation for himself and as with any reputation it relates to having good relationships and maintaining them. It's a skill

There’s no script, but the writers/producers tell you what to talk about, or topics to talk about. I did a bit with Ellen and behind the cameras were writers with white boards saying “ask her about her car…jump in the trunk” so they sort of steer you where things are funny and then change when it gets stale. Then they use the best parts/edit it around..welcome to TV!
