Great list for 2024 my friend! I can say I have listened to at least a few of those, Ecclesia, Leather Lung, Dissaray and Savage Oath (both those later thanks to you) Kerry King and Priest...which is pretty good for me with spending most of my listening in older stuff. @@headbangerscloset8552 I streamed the Suicidal Angel last night when the kiddos were in bed, and although I like the guitar work and a lot of the vocals...I just have a hard time with "blast-beat" style of drumming. It's good in fills and what not for me, just when it's nonstop I tune out. Lol! I'll be checking out that Ecclesia & Dissaray again today and I think out of those, they're my fave. 🤘🤘

The Kerry King album is so fucking generic. 😆 It isn't "Slayer style thrash." It's 'Repentless' style thrash, which is already a watered-down version of nu-Slayer. Not a "bad" album... just 100% predictable and mid.

@@fclefjefff4041 I agree. But that's kinda what I wanted. I would have been super disappointed if he decided to go off in some other direction. Now would I have been bummed if it sounded a little bit more death metal not at all, but given what we've gotten from him recently. This is basically a continuation with better vocals

Okay, well, I feel the exact opposite. Slayer was done when Jeff passed away. Things run their course and come to an end. Time to try something new, rather than trying to milk every possible penny out of Slayer's legacy.

@fclefjefff4041 I don't think Kerry is all that capable of doing something new though. I always Felt Jeff was the better player in the band. And after he died in kinda felt like Gary coming in was still a better player than Kerry. I do agree with you on skater being done when Jeff died. After that it was slayer in name only. Now with those "reunion" shows. It is a cash grab.
