As a huge Triumph Fan from little Austria for nearly 40years I never had the chance to see them live, but collect all their items. One of the best Rock bands ever! Always wanted to hear a live version of this masterpiece. Triumph forever!

Steve is amazing but I dont believe he has anything on Rik. They are both master's of the Trade. Segovia agrees with me. I love both of them.. IMHO

Damn!! This album is so good!! I stumbled onto this album by accident. I was in 6th grade and was over at this guys house who i played basketball with at night. I was going through his tape collection and came across it. I didn't know it was out. The last album i thought was thunder 7. I asked him about it and he said i could have it. I took it home and jammed it from beginning to end for the next month.

The guitar duel alone should have made this song a hit. Seriously, how did this song slip under the radar. It didnt even make the "classics" album...

Both Rik and Steve 2 of my favorite and guitarists & Influences brings my guitar playing to a amazing experience. Was nice to have them both together and this was also my favorite song on this cd. I btw knew that this was Steve’s playing before looking on the cd and thought wow.. how cool..

Bought this on tape during the winter of 1988 in Breckenridge Colorado. I put the tape in my Walkman and rode my bike up a snow packed road up a side canyon. This is the 3rd song and you can't go wrong for an up tempo tune. The words though are crushing after a getting dumped by my first love that winter. They always said never take a girl you like up to ski country because every player in town will be all over her. Love you Mary!

That duet with Rik and Steve! I remember hearing this the first time in 1980 something and thinking this sounds reminiscent of Silhouettes in Disguise. I met Rik shortly after this when he was pimping Yamaha Guitars. A very humble and nice guy

I've had a long, long time to think it over now You're not the one I waited for You're askin' me to let it go for now I can't take it anymore What did you expect? You've thrown away your self-respect But I'm not gonna let you take me down, so I'll see you 'round Headed for nowhere, I don't want to go there I know you've been leading me on Headed for nowhere, I know that you don't care, so Don't try to drag me along You never stopped to ask where do we go from here You've had the answers all along But now you see the deadline, it's drawing near And you don't know where you went wrong You've had it all your way And I stood beside you, come what may But I'm not gonna follow you no more, no more Headed for nowhere, I don't want to go there I know… Traducir al español

God, this brings back memories. When I had hair, and a reasonably functioning liver. This got a lot of airtime on the Friday Rock Show on Radio 1, along with other gems such as Tilt (check out 'Blood and sand' on KZbin)> Along with bands such as Magnum, should have risen to greater heights, but who said life was fair? Anywho, happy Christmas everyone, and drink more beer x

This song was written by RICK SANTER who actually played as a member on the tour..he is as good a player as the limited styles of the excellent yet pigeon holed player that Morse is. I've seen them all live...SANTERS deserves his props for this one!!!!!!!!!
@garmisra7841 Жыл бұрын
LIMITED? Morse can play neo-classical, classical, jazz, hard rock, instrumental fusion, progressive, metal, Southern Rock, funk, R&B, jazz fusion. Tell me again how you think he is limited?

Triumph is NOT metal. They are a "Heavy Rock" band. They've never attested to being a metal band. So, there recording studio is called Metalworks.. That has nothing to do with their genre
@paulsawyer47416 жыл бұрын
Well, on their first album in the song "What's Another Day Of Rock And Roll" they do say something about blasting Heavy Metal all across the land. Having said that, what was considered heavy metal back in 1975 has changed quite a bit but yeah, they're a hard rock or sometimes just a rock band.
@kvnjking6 жыл бұрын
hahahahah, yeah, "just a rock band" with just one of the best guitarists on the planet!
@taab75 жыл бұрын
@@ninjajo11 No, by todays standards, Sabbath and Priest are regarded as Heavy Rock. Purple are Hard Rock. A lot of Triumph's songs are Pop Rock or Melodic Hard Rock or Commercial Hard Rock.
