Wow!! We hope that this video can do this amazing place justice. What you will see is not even 50% of what we actually seen or experienced!!
We could have easily spent a full week in Canyonlands had we had the supplies.
Canyonlands has dispersed camping, but you must obtain an overnight backcountry permit and reserve one of the 12-15 spots throughout the 330k plus acres of park.
We got to the park later than we had planned and let’s just say, traveling those roads at night is NOT recommended!!
We only seen one other vehicle during the 2 days over 100 miles in the park. It was amazing!!!

I’ve watched so many White Rim trail videos and not one has been in the dark during the night. What were you guys thinking? What planning went into that? That one was on you lol. Missed out on beautiful views and had to be terrified for hours. Hope you learned your lesson.

Are you able to disperse camp in Canyonlands? I know you can in parts of Death Valley, just wondering if that would be an option. Thanks for another great video.

Yes, there are only 12 dispersed camping sites throughout the entire park and you have to reserve them ahead of time. We camped there for two nights, and it was absolutely amazing and we never saw another human.

I was just there in July in my 2022 eco diesel gladiator! I also totally misjudged how big canyon lands is! We had 2 nights booked but it was too hot the first week of July so we got just about to Murphy hog back and called it and turned around. It was a low of 92 that night. But it definitely was a day to remember.

Absolutely beautiful! Where are you from in the South? I'm on the SC Coast. Waiting on a kidney transplant now so health has me down but I plan to Overland across the country when I am released to do so post-op. WTF nice ass Kim! Wasn't expecting that!😂 I'm 100% heterosexual but still hey respect Chickie! ✌️

Is it illegal to pull off the trail & camp when tired? Do you have to make it to a designated camp site when overlanding? Appreciate the video thx
@DownSouth_Adventures

They want you to be in designated spots so that you’re not damaging the ecosystem so we kept pushing until we got there.

I have to ask, what would've y'all done if you met someone coming from the other direction? Didn't look like y'all had any room to move over? Also, how much fuel did y'all use up getting there? I know you have your rotopax, but I would've been watching that closely 😅. Glad y'all made it safely, great content as usual

You have to yield to the uphill traffic so had we seen someone we would’ve had to back up to a curve

Inside Canyonlands you will need to reserve your spots and get your permits ahead of time online. It is the coolest place I've ever been!
