And the adventures continue, I laugh at Chelsea, using push rotary mower, When I holidaying in Tasmania, many years ago, my Grandmother asked me could I now the lawn , don't worry it's got a catcher, Yes I said , I nearly died when I saw it, a push rotary mower with hessian catcher , O well I'm young fit so gave it a go, Managed half the yard. 🤣🤣 Saw Bronson being jumped on other vid , game. Cheers Bevan 🤠❤️🇦🇺

We are in Christchurch and have never really stayed in Ashburton, the river trails look like some good family rides. Getting setup for cycling will definitely add a new element to your adventures. Enjoy the rest of family time in the Catlins, looks like you're getting some good weather.

We had some wild weather haha but the last few days have been lovely. Chelsea swam with the dolphins the other morning at Curio bay!
@RadRoadAdventures3 жыл бұрын
I saw Chelsea on story doing that, wow she won't be forgetting that one! You can tell by the landscape in the Catlins that the weather gets pretty wild.

@AdventuresWithRosy3 жыл бұрын
Hey Jonsey, we were last week before we went into the Catlins with Chelsea’s parents (sorry the videos are a little behind at the moment) we are heading into the Central Otago area tomorrow before going down to Invercargill. Should be back up in Dunedin after that 👍

Ashburton's south end Countdown is good too. Smaller than those in Christchurch which makes shopping faster. Not being an NZMCA member I stay out at the coast at Hakatere Reserve. $5 a night but I don't know if this is per van or per person. It's a lovely spot about 20 minutes from town. Ashburton is handy for those of us who fly to Christchurch and pick up a camper van.

Oh awesome we will check the Hakatere Reserve out too, by the coast sounds nice! That Countdown was great, pretty funny to see two Countdowns in the one small town!

As a solution for carrying your bikes on the roof rack, get rid of the e-bikes and get a couple of decent human powered MTBs.
@AdventuresWithRosy3 жыл бұрын
Yeh good point, Chelsea has an ebike as she pulls a trailer with the twins and had a seat for Harvey too… a human powered one might be a bit of a workout for her haha
