My sister lives in the Spokane area. If you go through there again, stop at Riverfront as the falls are great. There's also a beautiful garden area in the city with different themed settings with plants from other countries.

I have to comment on the guy with backpack. Leavenworth is one of the many trail towns adjacent to the PCT. I am betting he was a thru hiker with his dog. Pacific Coast Trail runs from Mexico to Canada and is one of the premier national scenic trails. Next time offer trail Magic and buy his lunch. Love your channel. I am in North Florida I know y’all really like our state.

Interesting! we LOVE leavenworth! My wife does her damage at the Christmas shop! I like my hollandaise sauce very tangy so I usually order some lemon slices along with my eggs benedict. My wife loves her German roots so we make it to leavenworth a couple of times a year.

Another great job. So much info and fun! The Grech van really is upscale "living in a van down by the river." Wow. The agility and ease is impressive and you do a good job explaining how it works without trying to sell us one. So, of course, we've van shopping and are falling in love with the Grech. LOL. Noticed that you passed by Quinns Hot Springs. We did a day spa there at the pools a couple of weeks ago, very cool. We stayed in St Regis ( The Nugget RV Park...which is awesome) for three weeks. What a great area...close enough to Coure dAlene for a day trip, the famous Hiawatha Bike Trail..the accessible rivers and hiking were amazing.

Hi Brian & Michelle, great video! 107 degrees? What IS up with that? Yikes. I thought the low 90’s were bad. We stayed at TT Leavenworth and enjoyed it immensley. Loved the drives around the local area and the hiking trails. At Rondout Valley TT now. Great rustic park. Nice trails around the park and a beautiful stream beside it. Went to Poughkeepsie the other day and hiked and geocached. Vassar University Campus is just incredible. Hope you get some cooler temps soon.

Welcome to the Pacific Northwest! I live just outside Monroe (about an hour and a half East of Leavenworth). If you went over the mountains on US-2 you passed through Monroe (or very close!) It's a beautiful part of the country. I'm proud to get to live here! Hope the fair traffic in Monroe isn't/wasn't too bad! And if you haven't made it that far West yet - please don't try to come on Monday (or a Sunday on a normal weekend). Traffic on US-2 can back up for 20 miles - it'll take you hours to get through! Also - the Lowe's in Monroe - if you position yourselves in the parking lot beyond the big metal arbors, you're off their property... so you should be able to stay without hassle. Enjoy!

Great video! Leavenworth is on my places to visit list. The reason the ice cream shop had metal spoons for tasting, and wood spoons for takeout is, that metal can be washed and the bamboo is compostable.

I like Leavenworth too! I live in Washington and have visited there a few times over the years. We stayed at the Thousand trails campground. Are you not members anymore? It is a drive into town from the campground, but so beautiful, nestled in the trees. I love watching your videos and can’t wait to see where you go next! The north central Washington area is beautiful too, maybe you will visit the more remote areas up near the Canadian border someday.

I recommend that you go on KZbin and check out Mt Shuksan and Artist point it is where all the hunting scenes for the movie the Deer Hunter were filmed, you do not want to miss it you will not regret it. Mt Shuksan reflecting in picture lake is one of the most beautiful scenes in the world. Happy trails

Sounds like you’ve missed a few videos 😂 We don’t show ourselves cooking much because we feel we only need to show that a few times and that’s enough to show. We don’t like to repeat things like that and we have talked to Grech RV about this and they told us “Just be you and keep doing what you do.” If a person looks at a cooking area, you can just look and see how easy or hard it would be to cook in that area. The Class B was not meant to live full time in, but it does work well for 1-2 people if they wanted to. We are just the Guinea Pigs putting the unit to the test to see how it holds out and it is doing fantastic to be honest. Lately we have been eating out quite a bit though which is mainly due to us always being in a rush right after our workday. During the day while we work, we have lunch every day in the Class B. When we are working though, we rarely pop out the camera to film.

As far as safety, we truly believe so. But, you both need to make sure you would be comfortable and are okay with the smaller space. Ever since we started traveling in the Grech Strada-Ion, our travels have been less stressful because of the simplicity of everything and always having everything with us. We hope this helps. 🧡😊🤓

Too funny....Yep...I camphost in nat,l forest Dry campground(1st come),outside Durango,CO. TWO miles of Total washboard...8,000ft up...and very winding...yep..drive.about 10mph...ugh.I have to do it RT once a week,to go get food,supplies

Thank you and we’re glad you enjoy our videos! The current rush during this summer has mainly been because we have a LOT of places to go and see in order to make it to our planned destination coming up here soon, otherwise if we took our time, we would not be able to see 80% of what we are seeing and it would make it hard to get enough content as well. We don’t tell the world where we are going that far in advance just for safety reasons. When we say we have to rush, there is always a good reason. This is also giving us extra content to work on just in case something happens and we have to go back to Iowa for an emergency…because there’s only so much content you can do in Iowa. 😂 ALSO…we always try to get as much done as we can on the weekends (our only time to film) so we can travel to get to the next place without traveling during the week. Sundays we usually have to cut short so that we can travel. If we travel during the week, we have to do it in the evenings after work, which we do not like to do and sometimes puts us into the dark when reaching our destination. Sometimes we even have a dinner date with viewers that know we are in the area and have reached out to get together. We rarely show those times because most do not want to be on camera. We obviously can’t include every single moment of our lives in these videos and we would have to constantly explain this all on video in nearly every episode in order for everyone (including new viewers) to understand why we are always rushing. We get a lot of questions about things that we have mentioned or showed in other videos which tells us they are new viewers or have not watched many of our videos. For Michelle, she has to abide by the work hours that her company requires which makes it hard. For myself, even though I work longer hours, I can adjust and work in the evenings if I need to and therefore is easier for me to travel whenever and make up the time. I have to finish a video every single week by Friday which makes it tough at times. Even if we have videos scheduled ahead, I still have to complete one for that week or else we fall behind, which happens every year we go back to Iowa and then it’s extremely hard to catch up. Some type of videos are very easy to edit and take only a day, which is why you see some channels doing more than one a week. Our videos have a lot of clips and a lot of tedious editing that takes up a lot of time. For instance, a 30 minute “tour” video usually takes me a single day to edit, where a 30 minute video of travel and destination has tons of clips and takes me 4-5 days. The pressure is always on BUT I absolutely LOVE creating this content for others, especially those that can not travel for various reasons. We don’t make any of this up, what you see with us is real. It is hard to include every single thing though that everyone wants to hear or see. We’re glad you asked this so hopefully others that have the same question may find their answer as well.
