Wow, that was fantastic. Your cinematography and editing skills have become very refined and oh so easy to enjoy. It’s been a pleasure to have watched them evolve over the years. I took inspiration from you and have been full timing for two years now, retired. It’s a great life if you can physically do it. Otherwise living it vicariously through your videos is something many people do for sure. Thank you for making such great content and sharing these parts of your life with us. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Michelle. Safe travels.

You really did a great job with comparisons of the options. I have always thought about an Airstream, but so many videos focus on the lack of storage space etc. I think the combination of quality build, streamlining for the wind, and ability to use a truck really works. Not for everyone as you say, but much more flexibile option than a Class A for the part time RVer. Part timers don't need a ton of storage, and as you know everything stored means weight you are having to haul around!

Wow Kansas City seems like it’s really pretty. Never thought of going there. On my bucket list now. Can’t wait to start traveling on my future RV when the hubby retires. 2 years and a half to go. I am a huge fan of travel. My mom went out of her way to always travel with me. And homeschooling my kids has given us that opportunity. Thank you for your amazing videos. Can’t wait to have the opportunity to meet you guys in person, one day. Have fun with your family.

I enjoyed your video so much. What a neat place to visit? However, I was getting so frustrated with KZbin. In your 15 minute video they broke in 5 times!! I don’t know how the ads work for you (if it adds to your income which doesn’t bother me) but it seemed excessive. Sorry for the complaining!! Kathi

High five 🙌 Done in good taste. The music was well choreographed into the video. And here I thought Kansas was a boring place. Nice job! Happy birthday Michelle. 🎉🎂

By far our favorite lifestyle / travel / RV channel. One question do you ever feel lonely on the road? As much as I'd like to experience it, I think I need to be grounded with friends and family.

We’re so happy you enjoy it, thank you. That’s one nice thing about having our Thousand Trails campground membership, many of us stay at the same place every season and we end up seeing friends we have made along the way. A few of us keep in touch and plan where we can see each other at certain times. Most of the time we are so busy that we don’t get much time to visit though. For someone that is retired or not quite as busy, they spend a lot of time with friends they meet at these campgrounds.

I wasn’t aware there was such a thing as full-time RV travel until I started following some of these people on KZbin. I lived in my motorhome for one year about 25 years ago and felt like I was almost alone. It was as though you were somehow a lower class citizen. Little did I know, this was a lifestyle even back then, albeit, far fewer people did this. After watching numerous KZbin videos over the past several years, it became my dream to travel and live full-time in an RV as I’ve seen very little of this country. Unfortunately, I have a wife who doesn’t have my dream as she thinks it would be boring and will never be further than an hour drive from our kids and grandkids. Funny thing is, we see them less than 10x per year! Anyway, she agreed to travel part-time, maybe a month at a time after we retired. I thought this might just be enough to convince her to go full-time, or perhaps change my mind about going full-time on the road. My wife has never seen one KZbin video of anyone living the lifestyle of full-time RVing, so she has no clue of what it could be, although KZbin videos typically don’t show the bad and boring driving times. I retired 9 years ago, but my wife just retired a few months ago. When I broached the subject of RV travel, she will only agree to it if we buy a new class B. That idea vanished once I told her the cost as neither of us would pay that kind of money for something we don’t know how much we’d even use. I suggested a new truck and large 5th wheel, but she quickly put the kibosh on that. She doesn’t want to pull any type of trailer as she knows she’ll have to share the driving given that I have a chronic back problem. Anyway, I thought we settled on a newer used, but smaller class C which will be easier for her to drive when needed, and still give us some room to be somewhat comfortable. Unfortunately, she isn’t interested in discussing it any further. She tells me there’s no rush and she’d like to enjoy being home while retired for a while. She enjoys working in the yards and puttering around the house doing things as she’s very active. I’ve been retired for 9 years and I’ve had enough puttering around the house, but hopefully within the year we’ll get serious about traveling and get out on the road. At least she’s thinking about it as the other day she told me that if we went full-time, I’d have to give up my woodworking hobby that I really enjoy, at which time I suggested a toy hauler and showed her some pictures. She walked away, but we were just at a street fair in our city and they had an RV dealership there with a few RV’s. She absolutely loved a destination trailer, so I still have hope! Thank you for sharing your life with us on the road. I stopped watching KZbin RV videos quite a while ago as for some reason my KZbin account was deleted and I lost my list of folks I follow. I have a horrible memory and could only remember a couple names, but finally remembered your name again a few months ago, sorry! Anyway, I’ve always enjoyed your videos as you show so many great places to visit, your quite the comedian and, you always provide a backstory or information about each place you go which is always interesting. May God continue to bless you with good health and save travels!

Thank you for sharing this interesting yet common story. If it helps, you’re not alone. We have heard many simpler stories. We hope she decides to at least give it a try. If you both do, at least you can say you did and not have regrets later thinking “what could have been”. Take her to our beautiful National Parks for starters & we would recommend getting a used Thousand Trails campground membership to save money and still reap the benefits of saving money on campgrounds. The other very rewarding thing that people tend to totally miss about the benefits of a Thousand Trails membership, is the friendships you gain. Everyone in the membership end up going to many of the same places, so you meet new friends and end up seeing them again and again…Priceless. KZbin has been doing some very odd things over the last four years. We have had many people saying that KZbin had unsubscribe them from our channel and finally figured it out and had to re-subscribe again. We have seen our subscriber count on a constant growth ever since we started and then see these drastic drops all of a sudden constantly and then it catches back up again. It’s almost like KZbin is trying to keep certain channels from growing. That’s just a small part of what they have been doing. We’re so glad you found us again and hope you continue to enjoy our videos. Hearing people stories and how much they mean to others means so much. One of the greatest gifts is knowing you made someone smile, laugh or just brightened their day or just giving some helpful information. Thank you so much for the kind words. 🧡😊🤓

Great vid, as always. Where do you get your awesome music? Subscription? Custom? Something else? Best musical score of any travel channels on YT!
@LivinRVision
@LivinRVision 2 күн бұрын
Thank you. I select it all myself for each video from a huge royalty free music library, sometimes taking quite a long time to find. As a KZbin content creator, you have to use royalty free music. There are many service providers out there that you pay a monthly fee for, (or use KZbin free music library) but you still have to sort through it all and select what you like that best fits your video scenery. The service does not select it for you. Some people try using what other channels use, trying to mimic their success, but that’s not something I do. That would take away from the natural emotions of your own videos, not to mention taking away from the pride in creating your own content. You have to feel it in your heart to what best fits your own creation and the mood of a particular scene.

I like to watch those two shows too 😅 I love the wild animals show and it had a different host every show? because it was showing on a Asian TV station so I don't know if it was out of sequence so the host were different each time? Rick Steve I enjoy his show especially when he is at the European place and giving the history about the place and that is what I like about his show from his show I have a little better understanding of the European and he would give tips on traveling the Europe he likes to stay at with the local house hotel and mixes with the host family and enjoy the food they cook it's not the five stars restaurant food but he enjoys it I can see now your video is similar to his program you also give the history of the place you two are staying and I find that is the most interesting thing about your channel and of course I can't forget the pies Michelle loves 😅 the Oz museum I don't even know it I had read the Chinese translation but it mainly started from the part she got carried to the Oz and the journey to see the great wizard and met those friends like The tin Men the lion but unfortunately some of the sentences are hard to translate to Chinese like when you said "I don't think we are in Kansas anymore"I have heard that phase often but I can't understand why people said it 😅 now My English is better and from watching the show I understand the reference is about the yellow brick road and Elton John even song about it and it's One of my favorite songs 😅 I think you two made the right decision to travel the country now because both of you are still young and in good health so it's easy to travel, people wait until they are retired but some times they are just old and May not in good health conditions that enable them to drive for a long time on the road you two look still young and have the means to travel now which is the good thing you two can enjoy the place and she can enjoy her pies 😅 once in a while you stay at a good hotel is good to have a different place to rest than the RV 😅 I am looking forward to more of your video and I don't care if it's a travel channel or food because from you I know the places most people don't even know about it and the pies too I know you did one on what is your favorite pie places I think maybe you can do an update on it or your favorite places ❤

Enjoyed your piece on the Oz museum. We live near Syracuse NY. Chittanago NY is the birth place of l frank Bsum. They have an Oz Fest every year. The munchkins would come every year. They have a yellow brick sidewalk through the village. The story came from Baum visiting his Grand parents home in North Syracuse. His mother in law was Matilda Gage that lived in Fayetteville and she was part of the Women's Suffrage movement. We have a lot of Oz history near us So we enjoyed your visit to the museum.

There was a television show I can't remember the name of it but it was those guys that go around looking for haunted places and they found all kinds of haunted activity especially in the storage building next to the hotel where the groundskeepers kept all their stuff and the hotel keeps extra stuff. It was scary. And you thought the Glenwood Springs hotel was scary. This one far surpasses it. Happy travels!

I have enjoyed your videos since I discovered you during your Airstream days. In 2021 as early retirees we bought a new F250 and Airstream Flying Cloud 25fbt. That lasted for eight months before we realized my double hip replacements of same hip due to earlier trauma prevented us from continuing. We sold that rig and bought a new 2021 Pleasure-Way Plateau FL very similar to your coach. Sadly after eight months that also turned out to be more that my physical capabilities allowed, and we sadly sold our coach. Enjoy your travels and thanks for allowing us who can't travel to experience it with you.
