I was just thinking about this very fact. the height, tone, intensity and colour of the sound, makes Erik stands at the very level of the metal gods of all times such as Halford, Dio, and obviously, S. Bach. (which I'm a fan since the 80's) Hardly ever a cover overtakes the original, this is the case.

I'm sure you already know (but I'm not sure many others watching this would know) you're singing this a half step HIGHER than the original, which is insane!!! Good work, and I like that your highs actually have heat in them, not a lot of singers do that these days, usually people will go super clean when they go high. You have a different voice than Tony Martin (it's good to sound like yourself), more metal, which is super cool in it's own way, very modern. Also, you have really healthy technique. This is a better cover than others I've seen, great work!

I think Vivian's solo on Rainbow is one of the best 80s metal solos along with Randy Rhoads' all-time-greatest "afterbirth" first solo in "Mr. Crowley." But this was a BADASS solo too. Completely original but outstanding in it's own right. Well done fellas. 🤘
