It really was just like losing a member of the family. Lucy had been a daily part of our lives for about the first 30 years I’ve been on this earth. What an outstanding talent Lucy was! I shall never forget her. Lucy, you are still greatly loved by many!

She is the only one that can make me laugh hysterically just watching a rerun of one of her classic sketches. Every time I see the chocolate factory scene I am in hysterics. She was a comedic genius!

Same here - I Love Lucy saved me thru the lock down of covid-19. Her love and laughter was with me all the way, thank you Lucille Ball - not only have seen your best movies at least 20 of them, also The Lucy Show and Here's Lucy too. (before I had never seen the last two shows)

She was like a part of the family, appearing in our living rooms every week, and when in syndication, on a daily basis. We all took it harder than any other celebreties death. She was unique and one of a kind, and I cried for a few days each time I thought about losing her. I miss her to this day. A truly classy lady...

The episode where Lucy and Ethel work in a candy factory was hysterical, but it was also the truth. My mother worked in a candy factory and told me that was exactly what it was like.

Who would not have been devastated (or at least sad) by Lucy's death? I was only 9 when she died. But, I know the scope of her comedic talent and that she influenced so many people. Who didn't love her? She will always be (in my book) the ultimate funny lady.

May she Rest In Peace. R.I.P Lucille Ball. She was amazing in Mame, I Love Lucy, The Lucy Show, and Here's Lucy. She was an inspiring woman.
Lucy was an icon to women and in many ways remains one! She was successful, beautiful, intelligent, and took no garbage from anyone! She proved you could be feminine yet tough, beautiful yet not arrogant and strong but not a bully! I consider her accomplishments not just in acting but also in business, amazing!

While I feel sadness about her passing at the age of 77, I think of Michael, a 27 year old boyfriend of mine who ended up donating his aorta to her with his sudden motorcycle death. He was traveling on the 101, not wearing a helmet and splat he went on the pavement a few miles from my apartment. At least Lucy was able to use his aorta for about a week or so. Please sign up to be an organ donor.

I always loved Lucy, but she wasn't very kind to Patty Duke. I remember a lot of negative things she said about her and thought she might have pushed her over the edge. Also saw Lucy on some talk show (Merv Griffin, Mike Douglas or Dinah Shore) when she voiced some dour criticisms of the show "Three's Company" and they later made her host a retrospective of Three's Co. on a network broadcast to make up for it. She sure looked unhappy being there.

At the kind of physical comedy she was so adroit doing, she was completely without peer. Yes there was Chaplin, Harold Lloyd, Buster Keaton in early silent film and Bea Lillie in film and stage, but Lillie was the only woman producers might eventually risk any real money on. they sure were not willing before Lucy's first series. Lucy was a wrecking ball on the walls and ceilings of sexist stereotypes in comedy. Every woman getting a paycheck on television owes Lucy a third of it.

Whoever is reading this Jesus loves you. Whether you believe it or not he is the true living God. Go to him before he returns and before you die. He died for each and every one of you on the cross for everyone’s sins and was buried and rose from the dead 3 days later so we can have the free gift of salvation which is eternal life in Heaven. He is the only way to Heaven. We are saved by his grace through faith. Go to him he loves you and I love you🙏🏽❤️✝️ I don’t want you to die in your sins and perish in Hell.
