Came from Impulse's, since he was first upload, to see your POV at certain points. I ended up just straight up rewatching the whole thing again. It is amazing the difference between two ppl's perspectives of the same thing. Impulse had intense moments, but way more calm, either in the right place to live or imidiate death ones and not as great shots. Meanwhile, yours had a LOT of close calls, epic shots, and, of course, screams.

The concept for this game is great. Back in the day when I played Left 4 Dead I used to take screenshots and pretend I was some sort of extreme photographer. I'd do dangerous things to lure the zombies to where I could get good pictures of them. I always wanted there to be an actual game like that.

The number cruncher in me got dragged out of mothballs during the third round (china town) and I wanted to figure out the scoring system and the "Top 5 Results". Here is what I came up with. Round 3-2 Tango got a ton of high value pics of Imp "fighting" the monster, but did not get credit in the top 5 for most of them... He easily had 2000 (3353 on final review) points on his own. Multiple 300+ point pics yet top 5 started at 105. There is a hidden rule in there somewhere that robbed Tango. Only the top 5 pics make the review board, but the criteria for what is top 5 does not appear to be points scored. Reviewed footage of helicopter incident. Tango got bounced around, but not significantly injured. I think the splat sound Tango heard was Zed dropping the hand. To be fair, I was convinced he had died at the last moment too, til zed told him to get ahold of himself and get in the chopper. China Town round 1 tango personally earned 1462 points. With point values of 117, 390, 223, 400, and 332 Round 2 tango's points where 118, 79, 40, 517, 621, 534, 437, 334, 105, 568 for a total of 3353 with tango earning 4815 points between both rounds in china town Giving a total china town score of 4815 points earned by tango. OFFICIAL Top 5 pic scores where 105 Tango, 225 Zed, 334 Tango, 416 Zed, and 621 Tango, yet tango had 5 pics score above Zeds OFFICIAL second place pic. I suspect only 1 pic (the best pic) per incident will be chosen for top 5 regardless of score of other pics of the same incident, but top 5 alone does not give total score for the round. In china town attempt 1 the top 5 were worth 1888 total while the total score was 2443, so 555 points were earned that did not make the top 5 in the first part of the china town round. While the second attempt only earned 1701 with the top 5 score. So top 5 alone between first and second attempts would have only made 3589/4000 on their own. So it is impossible that top 5 results are the total score for the round. No official total score was given it immediately switched from 2443/4000 to 0/6000 but based on my calculations Tango alone scored enough points to clear China Town, and scored 3 out of 5 in the top 5 both attempts. Serious MVP scores for tango in china town. Theory: I am 90% certain I am right about 1 pic per incident in top 5, so top 5 is just competition between players aspect of the game. Meanwhile TOTAL score for pics between ALL players is counted for target goal of the total score for the round, but the math still does not add up. They definitely have some hidden rules for scoring that are not consistent with what is publicly visible, like "pic scores that do not make top 5 are only worth half value" or something nonsensical like that. Remaining mystery: At the end of the round it said +1783 which does not match ANY numbers for the china town round. Since one of the rules is make it back to the chopper alive, I am not sure if recovering the camera gives points for the dead players pics or not, or if there is a score penalty for injuries and/or deaths, but those are variables that I could not calculate based on the information we are given.

Additional notes: The game has base values for a TON of different circumstances such as critter, critter chasing, critter attacking, critter fleeing bigger critter, critter chasing bystander/survivor, critter dying, and there can be multiple of these categories in the same pic. (Ex: there was a pic of a shiny attacking, but it also listed an uncommon shamble dying (I think that is the sparks in the background as I think it hit a land mine) as well as journalist being chased with an action multiplier as part of imp's 596 number 1 slot pic for chinatown part 1) Each critter has a different name and different point value which are part of the variables. The "beholder" for example is named a shiny while "godzilla" is a velociralien, and the "big guy" is a parasite. Multipliers appear to be able to stack, I am pretty sure I saw tango get double credit for a "Darwin Award" and another category (I think it was "Action") I suspect critter type is a base point and circumstance is a modifier to the critter type for overall base points since critter is low value, but critter attacking is much higher value. Then there are the official multipliers. If you are hurting for points, grab a dead team member's camera... if you have high value pics of your own, just escape with your life. WATCH YOUR TIMER!!! That chopper is leaving with or without you when the timer expires.

There seems to be some mechanic when it comes to taking multiple pictures of the same situation. You had a lot of high value ones about Impulse being flung around by that one monster, but in the result screen lower rated ones from other moments came up above some of yours.

Pro camera +30% score, -30% capacity, if you only take high tier pics, it is a small gain. Lower level pics are a serious loss. Flash camera +10% score is a decent gain (gains low light pic capability, but so does having a friend with a flashlight) SD camera +10% score AND 50% more pics. Best gain overall.
