Trying to convince myself that I need one but tough to see it replace my EHX 45000, do you have to set a tempo and use a click? Is there a tempo free mode where you can record an arbitrary length initial loop?

Hi Warwick there is a free mode where you can record up to any length, there is 9 hours internal memory and via flash or smart media slots you can basically have unlimited time

@@MusosCornerAustralia hey that is cool thanks for the info. In free mode can you still create a short loop.and.the unit figures out the tempo? When I live loop I often run a drum machine + keyboard bass part into my looper stomping in to record and once again to complete the initial loop.

Hi Warwick, Uncertain about the answer here, without a reference click and some sort of quantising the chances are the BPM will not be a whole number, i.e 60.8bpm Here are some FAQ'S from headrush, hope this will help -@@CitizenWarwick

hi. what can you tell about noise, witch appeared with recorded loop. is it self noise of HR, or it is noise of your setup?

I just read a comment from a guy who said something that just CANNOT be true. Just can't... He said that he can't stop all playback or somehow the other tracks keep playing or something like that. Is this for real? Also he said the volumes were hard to sync up. Just would like to know because this thing looks AWESOME!!

unfortunately at that price four MONO tracks at 16 bit / 48 is silly in 2019 ( yes, that is the max quality you get before the FX applied ) that is low quality, and is the main cause of decades of arguing of how Digital is not as good as analog. Manufacturers betting we don't have trained ears and cant spot the difference between sampling rates I ended up with the new BOSS Gt-1000 and a TC Ditto X4 ( 32 fp / 48 ) on the return loop ( with a nice decay function ). The Boss is 32/96 all across! , and in total I get 3 loopers in stereo ( 6 audio tracks looped ). Strangely, Headrush decided to have high quality backing track ! but not the looping! crazy. Boss has a great IOS APP were you drag and drop stompboxes on the fly....
