Great, I am not a guitar player but my younger daughter is starting with a decent rig; I already got her from Sweetwater an upgrade for her Squire starter rig, this time she wanted a Jackson guitar and a Marshall amp and it sounds really nice and clean, she also got a pedal board with 3 effects; whah, chorus and distortion from Boss but it so happens there is one of this in auction here as I type; currently @ 136.00 I am going to follow it if it goes for around $200.00 at the end and I bid and win may be worth it for her; the other day they sold a $900.00 looper from Headrush as well it went for about $300+ but that I thing would have been an overkill for her but hey! never an overkill when it comes to gear right? I am sure she wont want to get into this one but is because she has not seen this video! I am a drummer and I like this little gadget!

Thanks that really helps. Wondering if I want to use amp/cab simulation in the Headrush is there a way to bypass amp's preamp like plugging Headrush straight into amp's return? Or is there an option within 4CM to switch between amp's preamp and bypassing without needing to re patch cable?

I bought the MX5 recently and it's great but has plenty to navigate, as well. Does anyone happen to know of a list of the amp equivalents to the ones listed on the device? I'm not very well-versed in amps and effects, so it's hard to tell what I'm selecting. Thanks for the great videos--very helpful!

Very nice video, thanks! Hey, here's a suggestion -- I would be very interested to see a list of your top 10 Headrush pedals. It seems that you and other content producers like White Boost, Eleven Reverb, Graphic EQ, and Chorus, among a few others. Which pedals are your other go-to favorites? Frankly, an average, intermediate, guitar player like me could probably get by using rigs and scenes comprised of combinations of just a few essential MXR pedals. I can't seem to find a good list.

Fantastic unit. Earlier I was trying to build a minimalistic pedalboard using Line 6 HX FX, Mooer preamp live and a seymour Duncan powerstage 700 for stereo output, and then I watched your first video on this 2 days ago, and I’m seriously considering getting just this instead of line 6 hx fx and Mooer preamp live. There are however some concerns that I have, the first being the complete list of effects and amps on this unit. I’m guessing it’s the same as pedalboard/gigboard. Is this firmware 2.3? Also, how are you liking the output sound quality? Do you think it comes close in quality to other premier modellers? I mean listening to it on KZbin and you sitting in your studio playing this thing has a different feel to it. I don’t know why but it feels like for €499 it’s too good of a deal lol. Where’s the catch? I’m assuming you’re not sponsored by them, what do you think are the areas where this unit can/could’ve been a bit better? Really appreciate your vids! Subscribed!

Area of improvement in my opinion is the bass. And it's the same with the mg30.

Nice bunch of questions, but i wanted to comment on one thing. The price of this excellent unit is ridiculous for us here in Europe (as are many music related products)! You have quoted 499 eu & i have seen it on Thomann's (not that i would ever shop there again-thats another story lol) for 549 eu & via music radar which is a UK publication for 429 pounds! In the States its 400 USD, so thats a whopping 158+ euro difference. Yes ofc i understand custom duties etc, but unless Headrush release this at a realistic EU price, it makes more sense to buy a Line6 Pod Go. Dont get me wrong i would buy this in a heartbeat if it were realistically priced, for example a pair of Nikes that goes for 200 USD in the states, goes for 200 Euro over here, and this applies to most USA goods purchased in the EU This item is way overpriced atm, lets hope that with the passing of time, the price will drop, but they will have to move fast because, the competitors bring out stuff faster than we can get our heads around the latest drops.
