I just picked up a nice used Headrush pedalboard for my worship team and I'm stoked to get going. Before I starting messing around, I wanted to see what KZbin had to offer. I am blessed by your channel and your rig patches. I appreciate this so much!

Good stuff Pete. For church, I just have pretty much ONE patch on my Line6 HD500 - and switch the different FX off/on as I go. I think the amp model is just an AC30, which sounds fairly clean with the guitar volume low, crunchy when the guitar is at 10, and then I switch on a Tube Screamer if I want more lead sounds. The delay is off/on with dotted quarter notes (but I do struggle to control the delay level since sometimes I want more or less obvious delays), a chorus off/on and a tremolo off/on. The pedal also has a volume built in and an off/on wah. It's pretty basic, and does compromise on more extreme cleans and lead sounds it but saves me having to remember a zillion different patches and settings. For most middle of the church services, it does the trick well enough.

Sounds like a good setup! The 4 rigs I describe above are a Matchless (boutique version of AC30), Soldano, Bogner and Marshall Plexi. If I had to, I could get by with one rig...but I do love the tones of each of those 4 amps so I spoil myself!

Your delay tones are great - I've found it really hard to dial those is in on the Headrush.
@forthecreator13 жыл бұрын
Thanks. It can be tricky to determine how loud you want the delay in comparison to the dry signal. In the Sunday Setlist rigs I have them a little quieter, in the Go Big Or Go Home I have them a little louder. I made them louder because I was listening to raw guitar tracks from the pro guitarists in Multitracks.com and noticed the pros generally had time-based effects (delay, reverb) louder than I did.

Thank you so much for These patches! They are truly excellent and I’ve been using them almost exclusively in almost all of our church services since I purchased my head rush paddleboard!!! I was wondering if you had downloaded the new firmware from head Rush? There are some really good tones, pedals and patches on there. I was curious to see if you are going to try to update your old patches or perhaps create a new one. If so I would love to be on board... Thanks again, your work has ministered to me and it is helping me minister to others in worship! Thank you so much!!!

I'm really pleased to hear these are useful to you. Yes, I am using the new firmware. I really like the tone of the Klon overdrive, the Orange amps have nice grit and the Ambiverb seems pretty useful. I may eventually create some rigs using those. For the last few weeks I've been using the "Go Big Or Go Home" rig for almost everything, so check that out if you haven't already.

love the video! thinking about getting one of these headrush pedalboards, im currently playing thru an elven rack right now. would like to see some tips or lessons on playing some the songs you did!
@forthecreator14 жыл бұрын
Headrush can import your Eleven Rack presents so it will be an easy transition for you. I learned all these songs by watching youtube videos. Wwinford is the best. Wesley gets the parts exactly right and his tones are very close. I just search "SONG_TITLE electric guitar" and there are always several people with play through videos (Elevation often has the original guitar player doing the tutorial).

did all the steps to download it and pass it to the gigboard, then on the gigboard screen I get the message that there is an error in the file and it is not possible to download it to the pedal. I don't know why that happens with all the ones I have tried to download.

Your rigs are absolutely perfect for the worship guitarist in a church setting! All the rigs and your models are perfectly balanced. YOu are truly serving the body of Christ! I have a question regarding Headrush. I decided I want to use the hybrid setting so I can use 4 of your rigs. I downloaded your 1 rig 2 rule them all which is amazing. I was wondering how I can sub it out with maybe ss dirty rig. How does arranging or changing a rig in hybrid view work? Also, the 4 pedals that are shown on the bottom row in hybrid, can you change it out for a different pedal that's already in the rig you are using? I'm sure there must be a way. Please help. Thanks in advance!

Do you use the Headrush with your bass rig or do you use something else? I play both guitar and bass as well for my church. I’m getting my Headrush tomorrow if ups tracking correct. When I saw your KZbin video I was so excited to hear patches for WORSHIP music! And actually ones that are usable. Thank you so much.

@@muddydog76 I do use Headrush for Bass and I get a lot of compliments: BLUE LINE BASS with all controls at 50%, except BASS is at 28%. Into 8x10 BLUE LINE cabinet. Mic is RIBBON 121. Selecting the correct mic on the cabinet is super important, so don't overlook this.

These are incredible! How are the swell/pad sounds? I’m a longtime helix user and have been able to replicate my Strymon Big sky sounds. Looking for super dense wild reverb tones
@forthecreator14 жыл бұрын
I am happy with the swells, atmospheric sounds etc. I like to layer multiple reverb and delays on top of each other to thicken up. I use the filters in the delays and reverbs to shape the tone (I generally prefer darker sounding washes, so I roll off the high frequencies). I put an auto swell in the first block but even so, do the swells with the expression pedal at the same time.
@hmmmwhatever3 жыл бұрын
So how do you get a dotted eighth note delay?? Because the headrush doesn’t have dotted eighth note selection…. It has 3/16? Please let me know as soon as you can! Much appreciate that! I need to combine a slap back with a dotted eighth note delay for a particular song on a gig this week!
@forthecreator13 жыл бұрын
3/16 is dotted 8th note. (Music Theory Lesson: dotting a note means to play it for 50% longer. so if you dot an 8th note, you play it for 1.5x 1/8th. or 1.5/8 in math terms. 1.5/8 = 3/16.
